At least online, Trump fans are relentless in expressing confidence he is headed for a large victory. I sense though that most of his strong supporters actually do feel this way.
Losing an election is always hard on people invested in it, but (one way or another) this is headed for unprecedented territory for the side that loses, which data and common sense indicates is Trump.
How do millions of people get de-programmed all at once? I do not know how this is going to play out in terms of the immediate aftermath.
A guy I went to high school with who until a few weeks ago was posting pro-Trump anti-Biden stuff is now just posting about how win or lose Jesus will still be his King of Kings.

I rarely post at HHR anymore, but it is has been pointed out that out of the many “NeverTrumpers” who commented there in 2016 and who did not vote for Trump, I am the *only* one not voting for him this time.
I wish I could say surviving indoctrination into the Cult is something to be proud of, but frankly it was easy for me.
