His lead in Georgia is only 1,097 votes….

It appears that Joe Biden will be the first President in decades to win the White House with southern states…

The post -election desperation on HHR of trying to think of ways that Trump may still win the election is the saddest and most pathetic thing I have ever seen along those lines since 2004 when a bunch of people at Daily Kos and on P1 were hoping the United Nations would invalidate George W. Bush’s reelection.
Immediately after 2004, I thought the loss was such a surprising trauma for Democrats that they would have to wait until past 2008 before they could win the Presidency again. Obviously, that proved to be wrong.
Right now, watching the complete freakouts, I cannot imagine how the GOP can come together and rebuild itself in such a way to be able to win the 2024 election, but the past proves that things can change quickly.

The Trump die-hards (and I still am at a loss as to how some of these specific people got that way) are of the mind that Trump needs to run third party in 2024 in order to punish fake Republicans like me as well as all the elected Republican officials who are not doing everything they can at these moments to stop the obvious theft by any means necessary.
I do not see an easy way out of any of this.

The media comments and even those of some Republican politicos believe that he will still be involved.
He will fade little by little. He is not winning anyone new to his side by how he is taking this loss and many of those who voted for him out of opposition to the alternative are ready to be done with him.
People who post on political blogs are not “average people.” But yes, he is going to be the Rorsach test in the Republican Party for sometime. I have always been saying the “Civil War” needs to happen and the outcome is up in the air.
I am just mesmerized by the brainwashing and cult of personality attached. Deprogramming takes some time.

What is happening now is reality and it’s ugly,very very ugly.
Personally I think the Republican Party would be better off in the next decade had Trump lost in a massive landslide and took down ballot GOP candidates with him.
We simply don’t know who will show up to vote Republican if Trump is not on the ballot.
Remember how different the electoral landscape looked in 2000 once Clinton was not the nominee. The Democrats had to build a new coalition to win again. Without Trump the GOP may need to as well. And how many Republicans are going to still embrace Trumpism? Now quite a few see benefit in doing so.
Don Trump Jr. Wil play a role in running in 2024…He will be trump 2.0 and whip up the fever of 2016 again…especially if Biden steps down and kamala is running…Black/Indian/Woman…that is not MAGA acceptable…
