The Republican Senator from Maine is down in the polls ….
She is NOT embracing Trump in her race after questioning his policies in the past….. but ALWAYS supporting him when it comes to vote time….
THAT isn’t enough for Trump I guess….
President Trump on Friday targeted Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) amid her difficult reelection bid, complaining that she opposes his priorities and saying she isn’t “worth the work.”
Trump’s tweet came Friday morning, after the conclusion of four days of confirmation hearings for his Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett. Collins has said she will oppose Barrett’s nomination because of the proximity of the nomination process to the presidential election.
“There is a nasty rumor out there that @SenatorCollins of Maine will not be supporting our great United States Supreme Court Nominee,” Trump tweeted. “Well, she didn’t support Healthcare or my opening up 5000 square miles of Ocean to Maine, so why should this be any different. Not worth the work!”….

Oddly, this might help Collins, although I would still rate her the underdog.

Collins Says Racism Not a Problem In Maine
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said during a debate on Wednesday that she does not think that systemic racism is a problem in the state, CNN reports.
Said Collins: “I do not believe systemic racism is a problem in the state of Maine.”

Sorry, but Taegan Goddard is the master of Trumpian like distorted headlines. james always copies them verbatim.
If one wants to disagree with her about “systemic racism” in Maine, fine. I certainly would have answered that question in the debate differently.
But she did not say that racism itself is not a problem or worthy of opposition. “Systemic” is the key word that changes the meaning of the headline.
