Not a lot of polls in the RCP rundown for Friday and Saturday ….
But Trump holds his own in Georgia , Texas and Arizona….
NY Times Upshot….
I find it odd that ,according to Rasmussen,45% “ approve” of Trump ,yet only 40% are going to vote for him.
Another reason that over reliance on these polls is a fools errand,
I won’t defend Rasmussen because whether they say Trump is ahead by 2 or doen double digits I think they are a bad pollster.
But if 40% in their poll plan to vote for him even though 45% “approve” of his job performance one could argue there are some who are just fatigued by Trump and want to turn the page.
Kind of a reverse of 2016 when people who didn’t like him voted for him because they wanted a change.
Ras didn’t follow the Trump owns the paper thing….
THAT has taken a hit….
