Tillus is trailing in his re-election bid to boot…
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) announced he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the Washington Post reports.
Tillis is also a member of the Judiciary Committee and was at the White House event last weekend to unveil the Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett.
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tweets: “We now have two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee who have tested positive for COVID, and there may be more. I wish my colleagues well. It is irresponsible and dangerous to move forward with a hearing, and there is absolutely no good reason to do so.”
Looks like someone up there doesn’t want the Republicans to rush through the ACB nomination. Go figure.

So now it’s Ron Johnson, Chris Christie, and Trump’s campaign manager. The Party appears to be committing mass suicide. Pity.

Add Wisconsin Republican Sen Ron Johnson to the list of Republican Senators testing positive.
Johnson had been exposed once before ,was quarantined ,but never developed the virus.
Johnson said the other day that he wasn’t concerned about Trumps finances after the NYT story, but was concerned about private citizen Hunter Bidens finances.
That made sense!
Reports are that the National Security Council has advised it members to stop going to the White House….
Employees should refuse to work there until the building receives a deep cleaning and mask and distancing rules are put into affect..

So apparently on right wing sites they are saying it’s suspicious that only Republicans have been testing positive lately while notable Democrats like Buden Harris and Pelosi have tested negative..
Typical of the Republican Party in 2020 for them to believe a conspiracy theory over the science of using masks, practicing social distancing and avoiding large crowds.
They give “paranoia” new meaning.
Meanwhile 87 yr old Chuck Grassley who also attended the super spreader Barrett rollout last Sat is refusing to get tested for COVID.
I’m guessing because one more positive GOP Senator quarantining will shut down any hope they have of pushing a SCOTUS nomination through before the election. Even though someone his age would need immediate medical attention and monitoring if they caught the virus.
Sounds like Grassley is literally dead set on having a justice who will overturn the ACA and Roe v Wade.
They’ll probably try to ram through the whole thing through on line, making ACB the answer to such future trivia questions as, “Who is tho only Supreme Court Justice who was never confirmed on the Senate floor?”
You could then call it the Skypreme Court of the United States.
That begs the question of what an old Iowa coot like Grassley is more afraid of’-Covid or unsing technology
