Joe Biden announced Wednesday evening that his campaign and affiliated committees raised $383 million in September, breaking a record he had just set the prior month as his campaign continues to ride a surge of online donations.
Biden, the Democratic National Committee and the campaign’s joint fundraising committees started the final 34 days of the campaign with $432 million in the bank, Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon tweeted.
President Donald Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee have not yet released their fundraising totals for September, though they must file campaign finance reports for the month by Oct. 20. In August, Biden raised $154 million than Trump, $365 million to $210 million.w
The enormous September fundraising haul for Biden, powered by more than $203 million from online donors, is the latest windfall for the Democratic campaign as it roared ahead of Trump’s political machine this fall. It’s a role reversal from the spring, when Trump started the general election with a nine-figure head start over the former vice president….
A look at Trump campaign money issues ….
“Before his ouster earlier this summer as President Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale had been banking on a $200 million cash surge for October,” Business Insider reports.
“Parscale had been spending big based on his internal estimates. But the money never came, and a GOP source close to the president said his reelection campaign would have been broke by the first week of October had Parscale not been pushed aside.”
Said a former GOP insider: “They don’t have enough money to close out the race.”

The question is what are you going to do with all the money?
I would be organizing GOTV drives in all the swing states ,specifically,Wisconsin,Pa. ,Michigan, and Florida.
With that kind of money you can really make a difference in turnout which already looks to be huge.
Biden’s ads are on just about every major sports show….
I’m even seeing some Biden signs spring up around my way….
I assume they will saturate the airways social media with ads starting next week…..
A huge billboard saying “Dexter is Biden Country” went up in Dexter, Missouri–in the Southeast “bootheel” of the state. Apparently there are lots of howls from right wingers there. But also a lot of local Democrats saying finally the party isn’t abandoning them (though I’m not sure who paid for the billboard).
Of course Stoddard County won’t go blue. They voted 83% for Trump in 2016. But completely writing these counties off is what helped put Hillary Clinton so far behind the Obama totals in Missouri. There’s a lot of talk that the rural GOP base hit it’s high in 2016 and is settling back to Obana era levels for this year.
