Two people involved in Democratic nominee Joe Biden‘s presidential campaign, including the communications director for vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris, tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the campaign said Thursday.
Jen O’Malley Dillon, Biden’s campaign manager, said in a statement that the campaign would cancel Harris’ travel through Sunday “out of an abundance of caution.”
O’Malley Dillon said that Harris was not in close contact, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), with Liz Allen, her communications director, or the other individual during the two days prior to their positive tests….

The Biden campaign said that “an administrative member of the Aviation company that charters Vice President Biden’s aircraft tested positive for COVID-19.”
