Huh?
There is almost NOBODY who thinks Donald J. Trump ‘Won’ much of anything….
As a matter of fact?
Even his party members aren’t happy with his performance from last night….
The man DOES live in an alternate universe…..
Oh , and Joe Biden IS leading in the polling of voters in the state….
President Trump on Wednesday told a large campaign rally in Duluth, Minnesota, that he defeated Joe Biden during the first presidential debate.
“Joe Biden is too weak to lead this country. You know Biden lost badly when his supporters are saying he should cancel the rest of the debates,” Trump said about Tuesday night’s battle.
The acrimonious debate in Cleveland was ridden with insults and interruptions and Trump told the crowd moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News was overly deferential to Biden.
“I was debating two people last night,” Trump said at the rally, again knocking Wallace, who largely failed to control bitter exchanges between Trump and the Democratic candidate.
But Trump boasted of the debate’s 73 million TV viewers and ran through what he said were poor moments for Biden.
“Liberal media is upset that I took the fight to Biden and exposed his very dangerous agenda,” Trump said. “Arson is OK, but challenging Sleepy Joe is totally off limits.”
Trump taunted: “Now I understand he’s canceling the debates, let’s see what happens. I think that’s not going to be a good move.”….
….
Biden, by contrast, said Wednesday that Trump’s debate performance was a “national embarrassment.” On the debate stage, the former vice president attacked Trump, calling him a “clown” and told him to “shut up, man!”
The Duluth rally is Trump’s third in Minnesota since August as he seeks to flip the historically Democratic state. A Republican presidential candidate last won Minnesota in 1972, though Trump was just 1.5 percentage short of Hillary Clinton in 2016….
On the Republicans reaction to the debate….
Republicans say President Trump missed a golden opportunity to change the course of the presidential election at this week’s debate, heightening pressure on the incumbent to radically alter his strategy and style in the final stretch to appeal to the independents and women he’ll need to win over if he hopes to secure a second term.
They say the game-changing moments were there for the taking but Trump’s aggressive posturing got the best of him. The debate effectively collapsed around Trump’s cross-talk, which was a huge turnoff to many viewers at a time when the president is desperately trying to make up ground in key battleground states.
That’s deeply frustrating for Republicans, who believe Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden would have looked rambling and been prone to more mistakes if Trump would only have allowed him to carry on….
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he agreed it is “unacceptable” not to condemn white supremacists after President Donald Trump sidestepped a question about denouncing the Proud Boys during the first presidential debate.
McConnell joined a number of Senate Republicans who said Trump should have directly denounced white supremacy at the debate Tuesday….
Trump Rep Omar mention to the Minnesota crowd…
President Trump‘s supporters on Wednesday broke into a “lock her up” chant about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as the president warned of the dangers of allowing refugees to resettle in Minnesota.
Trump took aim at Omar during a rally in Duluth. The president brought up the first-term congresswoman and Somali refugee during a broader riff complaining about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden‘s pledge to significantly increase refugee admissions from numbers Trump has cut it to during his first term.
“Another massive issue for Minnesota is the election of Joe Biden’s plan to inundate your state with a historic flood of refugees,” Trump said. “Congratulations, Minnesota. Congratulations. No.”….

The so called “reaction” of the Trump Republicans to this debate shows their mindset better than anything else.Theres no alternate universe. This is their reality.
They think Biden would have been shown to be uh “rambling” and “prone to mistakes?”
That’s funny.
Everything Trump says and does is a rambling incoherent melange of lies ,bigotry, half baked conspiratorial nonsense and hectoring mean spirited garbage and these creeps are waiting for Joe Biden’s “rambling” and Trumps “missed opportunity?”
This all just shows what the Republican Party is today.
You see they “believe” in this crypto authoritarian
They act as if he is a regular guy who just had a “bad night” rather than the cretin he actually is.
And its why Donald Trump is the poster child for the bunk that is 2020s “conservativism.”

I agree Jack, when your other Senator, who happens to be a black man, tries to defend Trump’s Proud Boy comments then the soul of the GOP is gone.
Speaking of your state, a Republican Super PAC is dropping $10 million on Lady G’s campaign. That might indicate how much trouble they think Graham is in.
I guess all that begging for money on Fox News went nowhere.

What’s the crowd/mob’s pretext for shouting “Lock [Rep. Olmar] Up!” ?
Perhaps being a legal non-white, Muslimah immigrant means becoming a citizen, let alone a democratically-elected* Member of Congress, will become a capital felony if America Stays Great.
