I KNOW this IS a long shot….
We’ve been speculating about Texas turning to the Democrats for a couple of elections…
It just hasn’t happened…
But the Cook call this late has to have Republicans a bit worried….
A slim Biden win, would probably be contested by Republicans, since it would lock any hope for a Donald Trump second term….
Texas awards 38 electoral vote’s is second largest amount is several time more than only 3 other states….
The Cook Political Report on Wednesday moved the presidential race in Texas from “lean Republican” to “toss-up” on Wednesday, another indicator that the longtime Republican stronghold could finally turn blue in November.
The shift from the nonpartisan election handicapper comes as polling in the state shows Democratic nominee Joe Biden closing the margin with President Trump, who won the Lonestar State by 9 points in over Hillary Clinton in 2016.
According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump holds a 2.6 point lead in the state….

Biden and his Democratic allies have increasingly turned their attention toward Texas, pouring in money and making visits to the state. Democrats say they have been encouraged by the massive early vote turnout in the state, which reached a record high on Monday, with 46 percent of registered voters in the state casting their ballots so far….

With the race for president ever tightening in Texas, former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is launching a bus tour across the state with less than a week until election day.
The 3-day “Soul of the Nation” bus tour will stop in Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Fort Worth, and Dallas on Wednesday, October 28th.
The bus tour, encouraging Texans to vote for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot, will continue through Friday with additional stops across Texas….
Media mogul Mike Bloomberg is planning an 11th-hour ad blitz in Texas in hopes of helping to defeat President Donald Trump, which probably means he’ll spend more to help Joe Biden win Texas than the Democrat’s own campaign, an aide said Tuesday….
