Ms. Hicks is the closest person to the president known to have contracted the virus. She traveled with Mr. Trump to the presidential debate in Ohio on Tuesday and accompanied him aboard Air Force One to Minnesota for a campaign rally on Wednesday night.
Officials at the White House have known since Wednesday evening that she had the virus. Her condition was first reported by Bloomberg News, which also said that she had been quarantined on the flight home. It was unclear when she took the test that resulted in a positive diagnosis.
A White House spokesman, Judd Deere, would not comment directly on her condition. “The president takes the health and safety of himself and everyone who works in support of him and the American people very seriously,” Mr. Deere said. “White House Operations collaborates with the Physician to the President and the White House Military Office to ensure all plans and procedures incorporate current C.D.C. guidance and best practices for limiting Covid-19 exposure to the greatest extent possible both on complex and when the president is traveling.”…

I am sure he took the 15 minute test some time ago. If it came back negative (even if they were doing a better test still), it is hard to believe they would not have already announced that publicly.

I wish for no person to be afflicted with this horrible virus, no matter how hideous they are.
But I am sure if Trump has it, it will just go away, it will just disappear.
He Tweeted that he is going into quarantine (with an exclamation point) but nothing about a rapid test showing negative.
Being the semi-hypochondriac that I am, I have to assume he has it.

As if they do not have enough to worry about tonight, there is an audio tape of Melania talking to her “friend” who I assume is the person who wrote the recent book.
And she sounds just like Donald with an accent. At one point, she is talking about how she was forced to decorate the White House for Xmas, and she says “who gives an f about Xmas.”

SCs pro virus Republican Governor Henry McMaster,a rabid Trumpite who has refused to enact a mandatory mask law statewide ,announced that he was ending the limit on customers in restaurants .Even many restaurant owners are upset and said that while their business was off they were in favor of the limits as they made their employees and their customers feel more safe.
I wish a speedy recovery for President and Mrs. Trump.
I also wish his administration, Republicans in Congress and Republican Governors like DeSantis, McMaster, and my own Gov. Parson who also tested positive for COVID take this time to reflect on their positions regarding reopening the economy at all costs.
