But of course Donald Trump doesn’t listen to ‘experts ‘….
And his guys have been trying to cut CDC ‘expert’ s’ out of things and sell Trump’s version of reality where there isn’t a virus that has been killing Americans everyday….
So now we have Trump doubling down on a possible ‘October Surprise’ hurried roll out of a vaccine that would NOT be fully pre-tested….
President Donald Trump predicted Monday that a coronavirus vaccine would become available “within a matter of weeks,” again contradicting the assessments of his own administration’s top public health officials.
“I’m getting it very soon, within a matter of weeks,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” in an interview, adding: “I would say that you’ll have it long before the end of the year, maybe. Maybe by the end of October.”
The president previously said earlier this month that a vaccine would “probably” be ready in October — just a day after Moncef Slaoui, head of the administration’s efforts to hasten vaccine development, said it was “very unlikely” a vaccine would be approved by early November.
Last Wednesday, Trump publicly rebuked CDC Director Robert Redfield after Redfield told congressional lawmakers that while a vaccine could become available by November or December, it would likely not be “generally available to the American public” until the late second quarter or early third quarter of next year.
The president responded by staging a White House news briefing hours later, during which he claimed Redfield “made a mistake” and “got the message maybe confused” at the time of his remarks.
“We’re ready to go immediately as the vaccine is announced, and it could be announced in October,” Trump told reporters.
But Trump himself then said at another news briefing last Friday that the vaccine would not be widely available to the whole American public until April….

ON A EXPERIMENTAL LEVEL…
The trials ain’t over yet….
And Trump HIMSELF said this week won’t be until March/April for Everybody with actual approval…
