I can’t see graham losing….
but WE couldn’t see Trump winning either….

What is happening with the polling,in my view, is that Republicans who support Trump are still saying they oppose him.Even though Graham has now become a major Trump booster, there is lingering dislike of Graham among many Republicans who still don’t trust him.
I believe as the elections grows nearer most of these types will “come home “ so to speak and Graham will win by four to six points.

I defer to ur judgement….
Any chance of a BIG increase in black voters that could hurt Graham?
A ‘wave’?
The down ballot Democrats in North Carolina i’m thinking might just carry Biden enough to squeak out the state?

Are There Really ‘Shy’ Trump Voters?

Philip Bump: “A number of recent polls at the state level have measured both the presidential election and Senate races. If people were wary of revealing support for Trump specifically, it’s safe to assume that Trump would trail the Republican Senate candidates.”
“For the most part, though, the opposite is true.”

In my view, Trump and Graham will share pretty much the same voters.

The Gallup Poll out today shows Republican approval of Trump at 92% .
In other words ,despite all the talk about Trump losing support among Republicans, his approval is pretty much where it’s been since he was inaugurated.
Further, as I’ve reiterated on numerous occasions,”disapproval “ does not necessarily translate into votes against.
I figure that Trump will get about 95-97% of the votes of self described Republicans, perhaps a little lower among Republican leaning “independents.”

And only a few of that small proportion of non-Trump Republicans will support or vote for Joe Biden.
Many will vote Libertarian, for another third party or write in another name (e.g. Ronald Reagan, G.H.W. Bush), and many will not vote at all.
Rich Lowry of National Review prefers for Biden to lose, but will not vote for Trump — just as CG prefers a Trump loss but will not vote for Biden.

The ‘leaner’s ‘ seem to be leaning away…
Not all of the GOOer’s are gonna vote and I still ‘think’ Trump is not gonna get 97% of the GOP vote on election day…
My Name Is Jack says
Oh whatever.
So maybe he “only” gets 95%.
After all that’s happened and is still ongoing, you still don’t understand what’s happened to the Republican Party.
Amazing.

I’m fine with Republicans going down with the Trump ship. Susan Collins won’t answer who she is voting for and is now trailing Sara Gideon by 12 points.
They seem to have made their bed and now need to lie in it.
