Things are winding down on Donald Trump’s efforts to keep the Manhattan NY DA Vance’s efforts to obtain and show his tax info in a criminal grand jury probe of his financial dealings …
Trump IS worried about this as he see’s his Presidency possibly being over less than 6 months from now….
There is NO pardon coverage for him in a state criminal proceeding….
He has worked for almost 4 years to keep his tax info under wraps….
A federal judge on Friday denied President’s Donald Trump’s bid to temporarily block a ruling allowing a subpoena for his tax returns and other financial records.
The ruling came a day after the judge rejected Trump’s latest attempt to stop the Manhattan District Attorney’s office from enforcing a subpoena issued to his accounting firm.
Trump’s lawyers on Thursday had filed a request for an emergency stay pending an appeal of that ruling.
But Judge Victor Marrero wrote in his order Friday that Trump “has not demonstrated that he will suffer irreparable harm.”
“The Court notes that its views remain unchanged with respect to the President’s likelihood of success on the merits,” Marrero added, “particularly given the concerns addressed in the August 20 Decision regarding the effect of further delay on the grand jury’s investigation.”
A lawyer for the president did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.
The subpoena from D.A. Cyrus Vance Jr., directed to the president’s longtime accounting firm Mazars USA, seeks the president’s personal and business records, including tax returns, dating to 2011.
Last month, the Supreme Court rejected the president’s claims that he was immune from state criminal subpoenas in the New York case, ruling in Vance’s favor. That 7-2 decision left open the possibility for Trump to argue that the subpoena should be thrown out, or limited, on other grounds.
Less than three weeks later, Trump’s lawyers filed a new effort in Manhattan federal court to quash Vance’s subpoena. The second complaint argued that the subpoena is “wildly overbroad” and “amounts to harassment of the President in violation of his legal rights.”….

This has been appealed to the Court of Appeals….
But the Supreme’s judgement probably means the info WILL go to the grand jury eventually…

While I’m ,of course ,in favor of releasing Trumps tax info ,because it must be something embarrassing as he fights so hard to keep it secret,I don’t think it’s release will have a major impact on the election.
He will just lie about whatever reflects negatively, his supporters will believe him because theyve shown that cultlike quality for four years now, and in a week or so the revelations will fade into just another notch on his long list of transgressions.

DSD…..
The grand jury is a CRIMINAL inquiry that could lead to criminal charges…
Of course this isn’t gonna be over before Jan20th….
But Trump could get indicted with NO pardon to save him…
Do i think he ends up do the ‘perp’ walk?
Nope….
Do I think a deal could involve him owing the state and IRS a LOT of money?
Yup…..
Also?
Bill Barr won’t be the AG in six months….
Donald Trump HAS to have a LOT on his mind theses days….

Trump can lie all he wants….
In less than six months things are gonna be out of his hands we pray….

Damn.….
The Federal Appeals Court went at warp speed turning Trumnp’s appeal down….
The big guy is running out of time….
This could be over in a week if Trump doesn’t try the Supreme’s again and they already said no….

Appeals Court Denies Trump Attempt to Block Subpoena
“A federal appeals court denied President Trump’s attempt to halt the enforcement of a subpoena for his financial records but at the same time set a rapid schedule for oral arguments in the case, leaving a window of several days where prosecutors could seek to obtain the President’s tax returns,” CNN reports.
“The ruling from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals came hours after the President’s lawyers requested an emergency stay, or hold, on the subpoena.”
“The Second Circuit Court of Appeals scheduled oral arguments on whether to grant a ‘stay’ for September 1, raising the possibility that Trump’s financial records and tax returns could be turned over to prosecutors before the hearing — unless the President takes the case up to the Supreme Court or Vance’s office agrees to hold off for the appeals’ court decision.”

Updates on Trump tax case and the Manhattan DA….
The Manhattan district attorney’s office said Monday that it has agreed not to enforce a subpoena to an accounting firm for President Donald Trump’s financial records until after a federal appeals court has ruled on Trump’s request for a stay pending appeal of his lawsuit.
The deadline for the subpoena had been set to expire this week, but the appeals court said last week that it won’t hear oral arguments in the case until September 1, which left a window of several days where prosecutors could have sought to obtain the records from the accounting firm, Mazars USA…

Update…
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance’s office told a federal court Thursday that President Donald Trump’s effort to block a subpoena for years of his financial records is based only on “repackaging” arguments previously rejected by the courts.
Vance’s office said in its filing with the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals that courts have previously rejected the claim the subpoena is overbroad and issued in bad faith. The office further argued that Trump has failed to “demonstrate any irreparable harm” if the subpoena to his longtime accounting firm, Mazars USA, remains enforceable and that the public interest weights against his effort to “interrupt presumptively valid state criminal process.”…
