Update….11/8/2020…..
Well people we now know that there will be a President Biden Cabinet up and running on January 20, 2021…Less than 75 days from now….
Biden has also said he might put some Republicans in his cabinet….
This post was originally done in August….
It’s Nov , several days after Joe Bien and Kamala Harris have won the election…..
We’ll try to do up dated links….
But most of my guesses are still in the running
jamesb….
Joe Biden already has a group of seasoned government veterans advising him on policy…
Most are from his time in the Obama admin….
Others are from the Clinton admin and some are probably from the early Trump admin….
The people in these cabinet level jobs are supposed to be confirmed by the US Senate with a simple majority….A Democratic Majority in the US Senate next year would just about guarantee that a Biden pick would be approved…There ARE a LOT of women on this list and some of these people have NO chance due to internal Democratic politics and Biden’s need to get along with Republicans in the Senate…
I’ll make a list and plug in some of my guesses and put what others have suggested…….
As this post ages ?
We’ll have you add to it and we’ll get to find out Joe Biden’s actual choice’s…..

Update 11/8/2020…
USA Today…
Norm Ornstein, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank, said getting Biden’s Cabinet in place during the first 100 days of his administration would be a top priority for his team. But if Republicans retain control of the Senate – the balance depends on undecided races in Georgia and elsewhere – Ornstein said Biden would be unable to place progressives such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont in his Cabinet.
“None of that is going to happen,” Ornstein said Thursday during an AEI panel on what to expect in the next administration. “I think under these circumstances you’re not likely to see any Democratic senators being chosen for the Cabinet.”
Some candidates have already demurred. Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, a former superintendent of Denver public schools, told The Denver Post he wasn’t interested in becoming education secretary.
Axios reported Oct. 11 that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the secretary of housing and urban development for President Bill Clinton, was being considered for a Cabinet post. But he rejected the possibility the next day.
“I have no interest in going to Washington,” Cuomo told NBC’s “Today.”
Here are some of the choices Biden faces in filling his Cabinet….
The US Senate looks like it will have a 2 seat Republican majority….
THAT will cause problems for a couple of leading choices for Biden…
One would assume that Biden COULD get some defections from the Senate GOPer’s if he REALLY wants a CERTAIN PERSON… But he’ll probably have to horse trade on those….
Politico….
Biden, who pledged to unite the country during the campaign, will likely try to keep his coalition together by nominating a mix of progressives, moderates and even a few Republicans. He’s also likely to draw in some fresh faces alongside longtime Biden loyalists. “I think one thing Joe Biden has always liked is a variety of viewpoints,” said former Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), who served for six years alongside Biden in the Senate. In other words, expect Biden’s own self-styled “Team of Rivals.”
The likelihood that Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell will remain Senate majority leader, however, means that every Biden nominee will need to win at least a few Republican votes. That will limit Biden’s choices and makes it less likely some left-wing choices would be confirmed. House Democrats are also more wary of Biden tapping any of their members from competitive districts, given that their majority just narrowed and they don’t want to risk any upset special elections….

This post is presumptuous and way too premature. It reminds me of four years ago when you were assuming the race was over before it was.
My Name Is Jack says
Exactly.

The post is lighthearted …
As u can see it has tons of open space in it….
I’m looking for guesses…
If it’s too serious for u and Jack ?
Ignore it….
I will update it when i can and others can ad to it …..
Biden won’t solidify his picks until after the election i would assume to spare the choices from Trump’s attacks ….

Before speculating fruitlessly on the possible cabinet of a possible successor, see how many of President Trump’s 40 Cabinet members you can remember (I could only think of 17 unprompted, even though I’m the guy who kept that log of filled and unfilled posts here in early 2017):

*Brainard Seen as Likely for Biden’s Treasury Secretary
“Joe Biden’s search for a Treasury secretary is widely seen as focusing on Lael Brainard of the Federal Reserve, a choice that would keep both Wall Street and progressives in line,” Bloomberg reports.
“The more provocative choice of Sen. Elizabeth Warren hasn’t been ruled out but is far less likely.”
