That said?
He’s still pushing the he’s running thing….
Ah?
The rapper admits he’s still buddy buddy with Donald Trump…and wants some favours from the President’;s people…
The media REALLY has to stop taking West seriously….
And Black voters ARE smarter than this…
When it was pointed out that he actually can’t win in 2020—that he won’t be on enough ballots to yield 270 electoral votes, and that a write-in campaign isn’t feasible—and thus was serving as a spoiler, West replied: “I’m not going to argue with you. Jesus is King.”
West rebuffed various attempts to clarify who was driving his ballot access or strategy and whether it’s being coordinated by or with Republican-affiliated officials. He does, however, appear to have a continuing relationship with the Trump White House. West says that he’s “designing a school within the next month” and that “I’m meeting with Betsy DeVos about the post-Covid curriculum.” (The Secretary of Education’s press office hadn’t responded to a request for comment by the time we published.)
“I like Kanye very much,” President Trump told reporters at the White House yesterday. “No, I have nothing to do with him getting on the ballot. We’ll have to see what happens.”
West says that he’s “designing a school within the next month” and that “I’m meeting with Betsy DeVos about the post-Covid curriculum.”
West’s intentions have come under increased scrutiny this week, following reports by CNN, New York, the New York Times and others, about efforts by GOP political operatives to get him onto several ballots, including states like Wisconsin that could be pivotal in deciding the next president. West has been a vocal Trump supporter, including visiting the president in the Oval Office. Texts from West to me earlier this summer repeatedly ended with the sign-off “Trump 2020,” and a fist raised high. West’s recent actions have also drawn public focus, given his bipolar disorder—and many, including his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, have expressed concern about his mental health.
West did not respond when asked whether he feels he’s being used….

In this Kanye gambit the Republicans once again show their total contempt for African American voters.
Republican political operatives have apparently taken over his effort to get on the ballot in several states and indeed are blatantly asking other Republicans to help in the effort.
Of course they readily concede that they’re not supporting him and that the whole thing is just a ploy to take some votes away from Biden.
In the Trump era? This is the new Republican “outreach” effort.

Indeed. The only acquaintance of mine who said he is considering voting for Kanye if he is on the ballot is a middle aged white guy who considers himself “libertarian” and “independent”–but just doesn’t want to call himself Republican.
He clearly prefers Trump over Biden based on his social media posts and there’s not a chance in hell he ever votes Democratic.
We’ll see if he actually votes for West or goes for Trump in the end. Not that he can’t lie or be coy about it.

Republican Trump propagandist Tucker Carlson finds Kanye “very compelling.”
Another example of the total contempt we find Republicans holding African Americans.
Really Tucker? You find this obviously disturbed individual “compelling.”
Who do you think you’re fooling with this garbage?

How many black people watch Carlson?

Rapper Kanye West garnered 2 percent support in a Politico-Morning Consult national poll released Wednesday as he struggles to qualify for the ballot in a number of states for his last-minute presidential bid.
Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, remains 9 points ahead of President Trump in the poll, 49 percent to 40 percent. West received support from 2 percent of respondents, which is 7 points behind the 9 percent of respondents that said they have “no opinion.”
The rapper is a former supporter of Trump’s who famously visited the White House in 2018….

Trump Voters More Favorable to Kanye West
A new Morning Consult poll finds Kanye West with 10% to 80% favorable rating among voters who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
With Donald Trump’s voters, West has a 25% to 54% favorable rating.

Many on the left loved Kanye West when he said on national tv , “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
Before he started hanging out with Trump for photo ops, he was seen as a potential future political force for Democrats who was a “genius” for his music and who spoke to generation. People even mentioned him as a possible future Democrat candidate for President.
Clearly, he has some mental health issues that he is dealing with. Then again, so does Trump.

Most people are laughing at Kanye West’s “candidacy” for POTUS, being pushed by GOP operatives to drain votes from Biden. But this is not funny. It’s FRAUD.

West may face particular issues in VA, where 7 of the 13 electors that West submitted told Intelligencer they were either unaware they signed up to cast electoral votes on his behalf, or that they had signed notarized paperwork connected to the rapper’s presidential bid at all.
