The Republicans will nomination their guy Donald J. Trump for a second 4 year term next week….
Trump has presided of the Republican lawmakers with fear and beatdowns….
He has shunned the traditional and sometimes legal way the executive branch is supposed to run the government….
He has also been able to keep support from within the Grand Ole Parties voters at around 90%….
But NEVER at or above 50% of the general population….
And even the Republican voters supporting Trump tend to agree that the big guy IS VERY strange and worrisome a LOT….
He IS TOTALLY about HIMSELF above ALL….
His poll numbers are screaming that he’ll be out of a job come January 20th and that could also cost the party their majority in the US Senate that they currently have…
But?
Republicans will on line next week FOR Donald Trump….
Here’s a look at Trump getting ready….
As usual?
Donald Trump is about negativity and fear…..
He bashed Joe Biden. He promised to protect the suburbs, charter schools, the Second Amendment and more. And he dismissed concerns about a pandemic that’s overwhelming America.
President Donald Trump traveled Thursday to Pennsylvania — the birthplace of his 2020 challenger — as the latest step in his effort to yank a piece of the news cycle in his direction after searing attacks night after night during the Democratic National Convention.
It was Trump’s prebuttal to Biden, just hours before the vice president was set to formally accept the Democratic nomination. And it was a preview of Trump’s own message to the nation, set to be delivered a week later from the White House as part of the Republican National Convention.
Under Biden, Americans’ taxes would go up and the safety in America’s streets would be in jeopardy, Trump warned as he painted a dark picture of life under a Democratic-led administration.
“Imagine the mayhem coming to your town,” Trump said, citing recent violence in New York and Chicago as trends that could sweep across the country.
The trip capped off a week in which the president traveled to Minnesota, Arizona and Pennsylvania to court swing-state voters and use the bully pulpit of the White House to highlight himself as the country’s leader, while Democrats introduced Biden and his vice presidential pick, Kamala Harris, virtually to the American public. This week Trump also posthumously pardoned the suffragette Susan B. Anthony — a nod to women voters marking the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment — and met with the Prime Minister of Iraq.
It was one of the most action-packed stretches for Trump in the West Wing and on the campaign trail since the pandemic upended American life in March. And it was an intentional pivot as his aides sought to counter-program a Democratic convention during which speaker after speaker — including former President Barack Obama — sharply rebuked the Trump administration, its policies and its handling of the coronavirus.
Thursday’s trip was bound to give Trump a boost following many subdued months in the White House. Accompanying the president were several of his favorite long-serving aides including Hope Hicks, Dan Scavino, Johnny McEntee and his campaign manager, Bill Stepien. He was greeted by hundreds of cheering supporters at the airport, many wearing “Make America Great Again” hats and face masks featuring Trump and the MAGA slogan.
The streets leading to the event site were filled with enthusiastic crowds, cheering and waving colorful signs promoting the Trump and Pence ticket. “Fauci, You’re Fired,” one sign read. There were at least two life-sized cardboard cutouts of Trump’s head on top of a Rambo esque physique: a high-energy display of support in the roads on the way to the event. “God Bless the USA” played at one point on the route to the event, bringing a rally favorite to the Pennsylvania streets.
Within minutes of arriving at Mariotti Building Products in Pennsylvania, Trump launched in with the campaign energy that has been on hold throughout much of the pandemic.
To appeal to Pennsylvania voters, Trump warned that “Sleepy Joe” would try to eliminate fracking, the stock market would crash and jobs would exit the state….
