The virus now know has been here far longer than that , probably since December or so…

The current President has done little if anything to deal with the situation, even going on to NOT take it seriously….

Governor’s in the NorthEast, where the virus hit first and the hardest HAVE gone hard to shut down their states, and demand social distancing and masks…
During the first few months the rest of the country sat back and read about New York’s sky high infections, hospitalisations and deaths from the virus….
That was THEN…
Today?
New York has hospitals with NO Virus patients , death numbers from the virus less then 20 and a infection rate below 1.5%….
The others state’s in the South and Mid West that where amused and did noting while New Yorkers suffered are now having record breaking infection’s, and having trouble getting their people to take the simple act of wearing masks, the cheapest and easiest way to curb the virus infections…

A Racine, Wisc., judge ruled Wednesday that the city’s coronavirus safety ordinance was too broad for citizens to understand and violated the state’s constitution, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
Racine County Circuit Judge Jon Fredrickson wrote that the order was “likely the strictest, and most over-arching COVID-19 order or ordinance in the country,” adding “This court finds that no average person of ordinary intelligence can make sense of its sprawling breadth.”…

Vanilla Ice is still slated to hold an Independence Day concert in Austin, Texas, later this week, even as the state reimposes certain coronavirus restrictions amid an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
According to The Austin Chronicle, the concert is scheduled to take place on Friday at the Emerald Point Bar & Grill in Austin.
Though Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced last week that the state will be closing bars to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, the business is reportedly allowed to remain open as a restaurant since it rakes in a majority of its earnings from food….

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Wednesday imposed a round of tougher restrictions on businesses to combat a surge in coronavirus cases.
Newsom ordered all indoor non-essential businesses to close in 19 counties across the state, including some of the most populous, including Los Angeles County and Orange County.
These include bars, dine-in restaurants, indoor movie theaters and indoor tasting rooms at wineries. Restaurants may remain open for takeout meals.

Arizona has requested 500 additional medical personnel from the federal government to assist with a surge in coronavirus cases, Vice President Pence said Wednesday.
Pence flew to Arizona to meet with Gov. Doug Ducey (R) and state health officials as coronavirus cases and positivity rates spike in the state. The vice president told reporters that the state’s hospital capacity was still at a “manageable” level but that Ducey indicated there was a need for additional personnel.
“We’ll speak with FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] to identify personnel that are available, but they’ll be packing up and moving out because we want the incredible health care workers here in Arizona to know that help is on the way,” Pence said in Phoenix….

New York state is conducting more coronavirus tests “per capita” than any other country in the world, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.
The Empire State — which has a population of 19 million — has done 4 million COVID-19 tests since the coronavirus crisis began in New York in March, Cuomo said during a press briefing in Manhattan.
“New York state is doing more tests per capita than any nation on the globe,” asserted the governor, adding, “That’s the key to our success.”

The state conducted a total of 56,710 coronavirus tests on Tuesday and 625 of them or 1.1 percent were positive.
Also on Tuesday, the state had 879 COVID-19-related hospitalizations — making it the fourth consecutive day under 900 and the lowest five-day average since March 18, when the crisis was mounting.
The state recorded 11 deaths as a result of coronavirus on Tuesday, eight of which were in hospitals and three in nursing homes….
