In Alabama, Tommy Tuberville (R) won easily for AL-Sen, Jerry Carl (R) won in AL-1, and Barry Moore (R) won an upset in AL-2.
In Maine, Sara Gideon (D) easily won the Senate primary while Dale Crafts (R) looks likely to have won ME-2.
In Texas, MJ Hegar (D) narrowly won the Senate race. House primary winners include Sekialy (D) in TX-3, Siegel (D) in TX-10, Jackson (R) in TX-13, Pete Sessions (R) in TX-17, Nehls (R) in TX-22, Valenzuela (D) in TX-24, and Imam (D) in TX-31. TX-23 is too close to call with Gonzalez (R) holding a single-digit-lead (single digits of votes, not percentages) over Reyes (R).
Democratic Socialist Dave says
Dr Ronny Jackson {rear admiral, USN, retired) won the 23rd CD Republican primary in Texas in a race to succeed retiring Rep. Mac Thornberry (R).
Dr Jackson is famous as the White House physician who (after tending the Obamas when they were in the White House) declared what terrific mental and physical shape President Trump was in.
His subsequent nomination to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs had to be withdrawn.
It’s no surprise that the Trumps supported him in the primary.
Support the Chief and you will be rewarded; cross Him at your peril.
