If you want to know WHO Donald John Trump REALLY IS and how he does NOT know what he doing?
Please READ THIS BOOK.…
It will make some shake their heads, some angry and some scared…..
Anonymous’s conclusion that the president is running perhaps the most inept and dysfunctional White House in history will vex and bother Mr. Trump. But what might bother him the most is the description of his lack of fitness for the role and his lack of interest in adapting to the job, or learning about the government he oversees.
Repeatedly, Anonymous describes Mr. Trump as not fully understanding the basic mechanics of governing — asking the attorney general to do jobs outside his portfolio, for instance, or asking Mr. Kushner to take over any number of roles. “He tells the secretary of defense to do things that are the responsibility of the secretary of state,” the author writes. “He tells the attorney general to do things that are the job of the director of national intelligence. Sometimes he tells his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to do all of their jobs at once, including reimagining care for America’s veterans, negotiating Middle East peace, spearheading criminal justice reform, and undertaking delicate conversations with foreign allies.”
Mr. Trump, who is sensitive to criticism that he ignores briefing books and might not be up to the task, would bristle at the portrayal of him as a version of Chance, the simple-minded, television-consuming gardener in the book and movie “Being There” who, through a series of misunderstandings, adopts the name Chauncey Gardiner and becomes top adviser to a Washington figure.
But Mr. Trump’s aides are cautioning him to ignore the book, because it will only give it more oxygen.
So far, that has worked….
Note…
The mysterious none author part got almost more attention then the book itself….
Most of stuff about Trump has been known…
And more WILl come out

Trump’s niece….
Mary L. Trump, President’s Trump’s niece, said that watching the country’s leadership devolve into “a macro version of my incredibly dysfunctional family” was one of the factors that compelled her to write her book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”
In an interview Wednesday with The Washington Post, Mary Trump said she blames “almost 100 percent” her grandfather, Fred Trump — the family patriarch whom she describes as a “sociopath” in her 214-page memoir of sorts — for creating the conditions that led to Trump’s rise and, ultimately, what she views as his dangerous presidency.
Much like in her extended family, Mary Trump said, a similar dynamic is now playing out on the national stage, with Trump simultaneously possessing “an unerring instinct for finding people who are weaker than he is,” while also being “eminently usable by people who are stronger and savvier than he is” and eager to exploit him….

Meme I saw today–Now that Republicavs have decided opening schools are the lynchpin of economic recovery, do you think we could get them fully funded?

The president of the Providence Teachers Union said it would hardly be possible to sanitize and disinfect Providence public schools that were built as long ago as 1929.
Well before the pandemic, long-delayed basic repairs (dry floors, warm classrooms) and major capital improvements were seen as desperately essential by everyone across the political, social, cultural and economic spectra.

Roughly 20,000 people appeared to attend the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee as NASCAR held its All-Star Race, the largest in-person event since the state banned large crowds four months ago in response to the coronavirus pandemic, WBIR reports.
The event was moved from Charlotte because North Carolina would not authorize spectators for the race.

Good on you Terry. It’s important to put our money “where our mouths are,” this year especially.
The only reason I can see not contributing is some type of legal prohibition or unemployment. If you have a source of income it’s incumbent on us all to give. It’s a National emergency.
Even friends I know still working for the Feds and who fear reprisals from the Trump people are having their spouses give the money.
This one is “all hands on deck.”

Scott P says
My guess is a majority of Republicans agree he is racist. But don’t think that is such a bad thing.
Keith says
Of course not because they’re racist themselves. It’s in the DNA and Trump is the Great White Hope.
jamesb says
I’d bet the HHR crowd STILL says Trump is NOT a racist?
My Name Is Jack says
Sure it would surprise Republicans!
If it didn’t ,that would confirm the claims made here by some that the Republicans are a bunch of racists.
If they weren’t surprised ,that would prove that they knew Trump was a racist bigot and supported him anyway.
You need to revise this statement; otherwise, the only conclusion is that you are now conceding that Republicans are knowingly supporting a two bit Racist bigot.

John Lewis has passed away. Rest in Peace.
Democratic Socialist Dave says
I heard John Lewis speak one at Brown. Quite impressive, although sometimes hard to understand because of his thick Georgia accent.
He said that he was the last survivor from the “podium” on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963 (the March on Washington); at the time he was considered a young firebrand from SNCC whose intended speech had to be toned down to appease the Kennedy administration and Patrick Cardinal O’Boyle, the Archbishop of Washington.
All the others have already left:
* A. Philip Randolph of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters (initiator and organizer of many Marches on Washington going back to the 1940’s)
* Bayard Rustin, chief organizer of the 1963 March
* James Farmer (Congress of Racial Equality or CORE)
* Martin Luther King, Jr, from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC)
* Dorothy Height of the National Congress of Negro Women
* Roy Wilkins of the NAACP
* Whitney Young of the National Urban League
Zreebs says
Off topic a little bit, but unlike DSD, I don’t recall finding it difficult to understand Lewis’s accent. Yet I struggle to understand Chicago’s Bobby Rush.
I agree with Keith’s comment about Lewis’s passion. It was remarkable. When he spoke, you knew he believed every word he said. He believed in fighting for morality, He truly defined what it meant to ne a great man.
My Name Is Jack says
Supposedly the youthful Lewis’s speech was toned down by his seniors over his protests as being too radical.

As great heroes always are, John Lewis was always relevant. I will remember him standing with Mayor Bowser on the Black Lives Matter mural on 16th Street. He never lost the fire.

He was something. Politicians usually don’t impress me but I still remember meeting him and shaking his hand before a hearing. Every word he spoke was backed up by experience and passion. He was an extraordinary man.

I just read this rather touching anecdote about John Lewis…
Apparently as Barack Obama was leaving his swearing in, Lewis asked him to sign a piece of paper..Obama signed it,”Because of you John, Barack Obama.”

Yes – A great man, a true patriot and hero. One of America’s finest. One of the US military stations in the South should be named after him.
My Name Is Jack says
Great idea, preferably one currently named after a Confederate General.
Democratic Socialist Dave says
or, even better, a slave-owning Confederate general
CG says
Rename the Edmund Pettus Bridge after him. There will be a push to do that.
The military bases should be named after those who served in the military.
Zreebs says
Well of course the Edmund Pettit Bridge, currently named after a confederate general who was also in the KKK should Be renamed after Lewis. Very generous of you to offer to name a small bridge after an American hero. Wonder if other conservatives will share your token generosity?
Military institutions should be named after heroes. And no one is more of a hero than Lewis. It is more important that our institutions should be named after heroes. And It is more admirable when someone achieves moral goals by peaceful means as Lewis did.
jamesb says
We hope so Z….
He certainly deserves to be remembered for efforts …

Kanye West has failed to qualify for the presidential ballot in South Carolina.
Why West decided to make an effort here in Trumpland is unknown.Still, he made a bizarre appearance in Charleston yesterday at a sort of rally at a nightclub where he alternately cried, argued with the audience ,and made disparaging remarks about Harriet Tubman.
He apparently came nowhere near the 10000 signatures needed to qualify by noon today.Indeed,Election Commission officials said they hadn’t heard from him and no one appeared to turn in any signatures.
Scott P says
The Kanye West fiasco is pretty much indicative of third party efforts this year.
The Libertarian and Green parties are running nobodies.
Howard Schultz made some noise and quickly went away
Justin Amash turned tail and ran.
Mark Cuban declined to run and has endorsed Biden.
Evan McMullin is on social media bashing Trump but has shown no indication he is going to be the “conservative alternative” this year.

Obviously, Kanye West is having some serious mental health difficulties or he is engaged in elaborate performance art.

Mrs. Cummings admits the two men did look alike. I could tell them apart but they did look alike, just like a lot of older Republican white men in Congress look very much alike and many people would have a hard time telling which one is which.

In Illinois, there is a push to rename everything named after Stephen Douglas, including even taking down a statue of him atop his own grave. Douglas was certainly a racist and pro-slavery at one point, but this ignores that after losing to Lincoln for the Presidency (he of course beat him in an IL Senate election) he pledged loyalty to the Union and called for Americans to support Lincoln in that cause.
They are apparently going to rename Douglas Park in Chicago Douglasss Park after Frederick. From what I understand Stephen Douglas changed the spelling of his own name to differentiate himself from Douglass.
When I was in college, the largest dorms were Lincoln, Douglas, Grant, and Stevenson. I was glad to be in Grant. I probably would not have accepted an assignment to Douglas or Stevenson for partisan reasons. Anyway, I wonder if NIU will rename Douglas Hall after Obama.
