The Governor Kate Brown of Oregon has got a ‘deal’ with Vice President Pence to have the federal tactical members leave the securing of the federal courthouse and property in Portland to Oregon State Police…The regular federal cops that patrol the facilities will work with the state police…
The move by Trump & Co. to take back the states from protestors has been a failed mission driven by Trump’s shrinking political juice…
There NEVER was a move to use federal law enforcement to ‘take over’ the country…
They simply wouldn’t know how and don’t have the people to do it…
One would think that with the images of over 100 ‘tactical’ people being overrun by increasing numbers of protestors and the more protests starting around the country try that someone finally said ‘enough’ ….

Federal tactical teams that have clashed with protesters in Portland in recent weeks will soon be leaving the city, Gov. Kate Brown of Oregon said Wednesday.
The federal agents will begin leaving downtown on Thursday, Ms. Brown said in a statement. An agreement with the state calls for the Oregon State Police to provide security for the exterior of the courthouse, while the usual team of federal officers that protects the courthouse year-round will continue to provide security for the interior of the courthouse.
The arrival of federal forces to protect the courthouse after weeks of raucous demonstrations outside protesting the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minnesota infuriated local officials who did not ask for the federal deployment. It also triggered a dramatic escalation in the protests in downtown Portland, with demonstrators mounting nightly rallies outside the courthouse that often included tear gas and fireworks.
“These federal officers have acted as an occupying force, refused accountability, and brought violence and strife to our community,” Ms. Brown said….

For the second consecutive evening after federal law enforcement officers retreated from the front lines in this city, protesters had almost no interaction with state police as thousands gathered downtown until early Saturday morning.
Oregon State Police, who took over in the protection of a federal courthouse on Thursday, were rarely seen outside the building, despite a lingering crowd that screamed anti-police slogans and set several large fires in the street.
But unlike Thursday evening, when there was an air of celebration, the tone of the protest on Friday evening seemed more somber and, at times, conflicted.
Without the federal officers sent by the Trump administration to rally against — not to mention the threat of tear gas, rubber bullets and arrests they brought with them — the protesters tackled more complicated questions among themselves….
