The guy says in a 89 page complaint that he was demoted because his view of how to go at the virus clashed with the political lines from the White House….
If Joe Biden wins come November?
There is gonna be a TON of people coming out with these kinds of revelations and a LOT of tell-all books…
If Trump & Co. think they are gonna leave Washington D.C. without it biting them back for stuff they’ve done?
They are sadly mistaken…

Rick Bright, former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, was removed from his post on April 20 after having served as BARDA director for nearly four years. He was reassigned to a narrower role at the National Institutes of Health that the Department of Health and Human Services touted as part of a “bold new plan” to defeat covid-19, the disease caused by coronavirus.
Bright portrays himself in the 89-page complaint as one of the administration’s health officials trying to sound the alarm about the virus as early as January. He said he called for the rapid development of treatments and vaccines, as well as the stockpiling of additional N95 masks and ventilators, at a time when HHS political leadership, including Secretary Alex Azar, appeared to him to be underestimating the threat.
He offers copies of emails that suggest he repeatedly pressed the Trump administration in January to obtain samples of the virus from China so that scientists could get to work on a vaccine and diagnostic treatments, but was met with indifference by top administration officials.
He also notes that he clashed with his boss, assistant secretary for preparedness and response at HHS Robert Kadlec, for at least two years, according to the complaint. Bright alleged that Kadlec and others pressured him to buy drugs and medical products for the nation’s stockpile of emergency medical equipment from companies that were linked politically to the administration and that he resisted such efforts….

A new phenomenon is slowly emerging whereby Fox News Viewers are verbally assaulting and threatening people who wear face masks.
In deep red Oklahoma in the city of Stillwater the Mayor rescinded an order that retail employees wear masks because they were being verbally intimidated and threatened with physical violence .
Anecdotal reports have multiplied over the past week.
A TV reporter was verbally harassed by a “concerned citizen “ (exercising his right to “free speech”) for wearing a mask as he loudly demanded that the reporter take it off.
Apparently these masks ( which are more to protect those around them than the mask wearer) are the latest in a long line of things that drive Fox News Viewers to reprehensible behavior.
When can we expect Tucker Carlson ,who a few weeks ago was urging everyone to “follow the science,” to expound on the “patriotism” of those so blustering?

Rick Bright, a former top vaccine official who was removed from his post last month, will testify before Congress next week despite being under “massive stress,” his lawyer said Wednesday.
Bright, the former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, alleged in a whistleblower complaint on Tuesday that he was reassigned to a less prestigious role because he tried to “prioritize science and safety over political expediency” and raised health concerns over a drug repeatedly pushed by President Trump as a possible cure for the coronavirus.
Debra Katz, an attorney for Bright, confirmed Wednesday that he will appear on Capitol Hill next Thursday at the invitation of Rep. Anna Eschoo (D-Calif.), who chairs the health subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. “He is going to testify next week,” Katz said during an appearance on CNN….
