While throwing the situation up at Biden?
The President seems to unconsciously revealed an understanding and sympathy for the situation Joe Biden is running into, having been there NUMEROUS times himself …
In a podcast interview that aired on Friday, Trump teetered between labeling Tara Reade and her mother’s accounts as “credible” to expressing sympathy for Biden — drawing comparisons to the allegations against himself and those against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The president, rambling about his experience with women as a “famous guy,” emphasized that he knows about “false accusations.”
“I have been falsely accused by people that I’ve never even seen,” Trump said on conservative media personality Dan Bongino’s podcast Friday. “I’ve never even seen many of these people, and some of them, I’ve met them and zero interest. OK? Like zero. And all of the sudden you become a wealthy guy. You’re a famous guy, and then you become president, and people just, people that you’ve never seen, that you’ve never heard of, make charges.”
Trump continued: “I guess in a way, you could say I’m sticking up for him. But the mother was very compelling certainly, and the girlfriend, or the friends were very compelling. And certainly far more compelling than anything they had with respect to Brett Kavanaugh.”…
…
Reade has told multiple media outlets, including POLITICO, that the former vice president assaulted her in a Senate hallway in 1993 when she worked for the then-Delaware senator. While he vehemently denied the accusations on Friday and said a search of the National Archives would reveal no complaint against him, Biden was at times evasive and wouldn’t commit to a search of his archives at the University of Delaware.
When pushed on whether Biden should release these records, Trump told Bongino that the former vice president is “going to have to make his own decision. I’m not going to be telling him what to do.” The president then walked through his thought process as to why women accuse men before jumping back to give Biden advice — appearing to see a kindred spirit in his likely 2020 adversary….
