The former President went on to knock other things he feels are wrong after he has left office….
This IS a change in style for Obama who has stayed away from public policy comments up until now in support of his former Vice President against the current President who apparently hates him…
“More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing,” Obama said as part of an address that offered encouragement to the Class of 2020. “A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”
Obama did not mention his successor, President Trump, by name. But the comments echoed criticism of the Trump administration that Obama leveled last month in a video endorsement of former vice president Joe Biden. Obama said then that the pandemic had shown that “having leaders who are informed and honest and seek to bring people together” matters.
“A disease like this just spotlights the underlying inequalities and extra burdens that black communities have historically had to deal with in this country,” Obama said Saturday. “We see it in the disproportionate impact of covid-19 on our communities, just as we see it when a black man goes for a jog and some folks feel like they can stop and question and shoot him if he doesn’t submit to their questioning….

Meanwhile Trump said those protesting government lockdown are “great people”. Even as signs popped up saying Hang Fauci. Yeah. Great people you got there Republicans.
