Say WHAT?
A public disagreement with his Grant Master?
On something that has Barack Obama name on it no less?
REALLY?
Could Barr he signalling that a ‘all or nothing’ look for a rolling on a part of the law would put a court in a position that he would NOT want to be in?
A call by one Federal judge to invalidate a law passed by Congress and IS the entire basis of healthcare in America for hundreds of millions of Americans IS a heavy lift forever the Supreme Court..
For once…
William Barr seems to have good sense on something…
The Trump political people could be setting the call against them in a position that looks reckless and punishing to Americans…Americans now support the American healthcare system..
In addition?
This could backfire on Republicans and Trump politically and the country economically and healthwise…
The court ruling would likely be after the November election and be influenced by who will be president for sure…
A Joe Biden admin after January would move to support the Obamacare system no matter what…
Attorney General William Barr made a last-minute push Monday to persuade the administration to modify its position in the Obamacare dispute that will be heard at the Supreme Court this fall, arguing that the administration should pull back from its insistence that the entire law be struck down.

According to Politico Trump is going to reject Barr’s advice and ask Supreme Court justices to repeal ObamaCare.
Between this and focusing on the rural small counties he is really running a base GOP campaign. Can’t imagine anyone who isn’t already a hardcore Republican Obama hater being energized by this. Meanwhile millions who are unsure of their healthcare coverage with a pandemic and deep recession will be dealt even more uncertainty.

I think Barr is afraid that the ‘all or nothing’ strategy will force the court to support the Law…
I just can’t see the justices ruling against the nations ENTIRE healthcare system shutdown…
BTW?
It seems the court ain’t happy about efforts to restrict abortions either…
The court HAS supported the ACA in the past…

Trump on Obamacare: ‘What we want to do is terminate it and give great health care’
…
Ah, Republicans do NOT have a health plan to replace Obamacare….
Scott P says
Sure, shine a flashlight up your ass and drink bleach! That’s the closest we’ve gotten to a health care plan from Trump Republicans.
