MA-Sen: Apparently incumbent Sen. Ed Markey (D) is about 3,000 signatures short of qualifying for his primary ballot. Covid-19 has put many campaigns across the country in jeopardy of missing petition deadlines with the difficulty of soliciting signatures in person in the time of social distancing. Markey’s campaign is having to invest in an expensive operation of having supporters sign up for a petition to be mailed to them, after which the petition has to be mailed back. Markey’s primary opponent, Rep. and Heir Force Supreme Allied Commander Joe Kennedy III, has already submitted 15,000 signatures of the 10,000 needed (it is common to submit more than the minimum as some are inevitably tossed out)….
