The race for the 2020 Democratic Presidential Nomination is almost done….
Tonight Joe Biden has won*….
Mississippi
Missouri
Michigan
Idaho…
North Dakota…Sanders Wins…
Bernie Sanders continues to lose with Democratic Black voters and White suburban voters ….
The voting numbers are going thru the roof like in the midterm 2018 voting…
Tonight he lost White males it appears that voted for Barack Obama, but voted against Hillary Clinton in the primary 4 years ago….Michigan has had rough economic times ….And had crossover GOP voters for Biden because of the open primary in the state…
Biden will be over 200 hundred delegates ahead in seven days….
It’s up to Bernie Sanders when he wants to quit…
(Sanders decided NOT to speak tonight…There is a scheduled debate this Sunday in Arizona)
But him knocking Joe Biden will only annoy things and help Donald Trump…
Joe Biden NOW has a delicate mission…
He HAS to work to embrace the younger Democrats into the mission for the party to go after Donald Trump…
THAT does NOT mean Biden has to embrace Sanders policies that are unobtainable as Biden has contiueed to talk about…
It does mean to LISTEN to the younger voters, BUT NOT forget the mainstream Democrats who Sanders is NOT…
Biden cannot just forget either groups…Joe Biden will need EVERY Vote he can get…
The party needs to come together to make Donald Trump unemployed…
If there is somebody that should be able to bring things together?
Joe Biden IS the guy…
…
After winning Michigan tonight, Joe Biden’s speech was conciliatory, says
: He knows “he needs to bring the party back together, especially the diehard Sanders supporters who will be crestfallen after another rough election night”
In the end?
The person who won South Carolina continues to be the person that wins the nomination…
The Iowa and New Hampshire contests are just for show…
The ‘Real’ contest begins afterwards….
Biden’s victory speech has him thanking Bernie Sanders supporters
And in his speech, on teleprompter , he pivots to the general election….
And peace making in the Democratic Civil War….
And focus on ‘Hope’ and a more inclusive America…
“I don’t think the revolution is done, but I think Bernie Sanders’ chances of being president are done,” said Kevin Cate, advisor to former presidential candidate Tom Steyer.
“Biden is winning almost everywhere,” Cate added, “and cable news has decided he’s the nominee. And there’s no stopping that train once it starts going.”
In play in Tuesday’s primaries are 352 delegates of the total 3,979. After Tuesday, 47 percent of delegates will have been awarded. Biden leads Sanders 664-573.
Biden’s early wins on Tuesday were so significant that they could put him on a path to cinch the needed delegates prior to the June convention. The scale of his victory already started to resemble last week’s Super Tuesday, when Biden won 10 of 14 states…

One of the challenges for Sanders is that there’s not really a state to hang his hat on in the next 2 weeks. FL and GA were always gonna be rough, IL and OH aren’t looking hot in light of MI, and in AZ, the age of the electorate seems to be outweighing his strength among Latinos.

The progressive movement will outlive Sanders. It’s next generation of stars are more diverse. But as
@AOC
said Sunday in Michigan: “We must be inclusive. We must bring more people into this movement.”

Maybe by arguing with the lying NRA supporter Biden was just channeling his inner Harry Truman.

Mr. Hume:
I’ve just read your lousy review of Margaret’s concert. I’ve come to the conclusion that you are an “eight ulcer man on four ulcer pay.”
It seems to me that you are a frustrated old man who wishes he could have been successful. When you write such poppy-cock as was in the back section of the paper you work for it shows conclusively that you’re off the beam and at least four of your ulcers are at work.
Some day I hope to meet you. When that happens you’ll need a new nose, a lot of beefsteak for black eyes, and perhaps a supporter below!
Pegler, a gutter snipe, is a gentleman alongside you. I hope you’ll accept that statement as a worse insult than a reflection on your ancestry.

Sean Spicer pulled out the same thing in defense of Trump going after a reporter. Be proud of yourself.
