Anyone who thought THIS wasn’t coming directly out there in the Donald Trump era was fooling themselves….
While it won’t bother most voters according to polls…
It could cost Buttigieg some support even among some Democrats….
But there is ALREADY pushback against the conservative radio talkshow host’s comments…
But THAT will only bring the issue MORE to the forefront, something Buttigieg has been open about , but is not running on….
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is catching heat online for comments he made while discussing Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg’s electability if he were to face off against President Trump in the coming election.
During his nationally syndicated program on Wednesday, Limbaugh took aim at Buttigieg while sounding off on the leading Democratic presidential candidates and their performances in the primary race thus far.
“You’ve got Fauxcahontas way back there in the background barely out of the tepee bringing up the tail end,” Limbaugh said, referring to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) “Biden’s gone. So you’re faced with a dyed-in-the-wool socialist who’s not even a Democrat [and] a gay guy, 37 years old, loves kissing his husband on debate stages,” he continued, referring to former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Buttigieg, respectively.
“Can you see Trump have fun with that? And [Sen.] Amy Klobuchar [D-Minn.]. So you are whoever the grand pooh-bahs in the Democrat Party are,” he added.
“You’re looking at your options today, and you’re asking, ‘OK, can we win with Klobuchar? We don’t want to put Klobuchar up there because she doesn’t have a prayer,'” he said before shifting gears back to Buttigieg, saying, “Then they’re sitting there, and they’re looking at Mayor Pete, a 37-year-old gay guy, mayor of South Bend, loves to kiss his husband on the debate stage. And they’re saying, ‘OK, how’s this gonna look, a 37-year-old gay guy kissing his husband onstage next to Mr. Man Donald Trump? What’s gonna happen there?'”…

Lesbian Tammy Baldwin won the Senate in Wisconsin many years ago. Buttigieg could win the presidency and key swing states like Wisconsin today.
It would be nice if we stop saying “If we elect this Democratic candidate, we will lose some votes” – as James implies about Buttigieg. All of the Democratic candidates have strengths and weaknesses. There are some candidates that I think will be better than others, and I have no doubts that we will disagree on some of them. But the weakest Democratic candidates are already gone.. Let’s start defending the Democratic candidates when unfair charges are made – instead of saying silent. There is a good chance we won’t get the candidate we think is best able to defeat Trump. – whoever that is. All of the Democratic candidates are far, far superior to Trump. And after all that had happened, it is even more obvious today than before Trump started. We have literally already forgotten things about Trump that pale in comparison to what any Democrat has ever done or said. And we (including me) have become so accustomed to reading outrageous things about Trump that we now shrug our shoulders when we should be outraged.

“We have literally already forgotten things about Trump that pale in comparison to what any Democrat has ever done or said.”
Isn’t that the truth?
Joe Biden’s gaffes?Hell every word that comes out of Trumps mouth is a damn gaffe!
Amy Klobuchar was mean to her staff?Apparently ,Trumps staff detests him.Almost all the leaks out of the White House are from his “staff.”
Mike Bloomberg is rich.Trumps cult is always boasting what a great “businessman” he was..Compared to Bloomberg?Trump was a peddler on the east side,
Buttigieg is gay.Trump is a misogynist.
Sanders is garrulous and a socialist.
Trump is ill tempered and on any given day is a racist, an authoritarian or a sexist.
And my favorite? The Democrats lie!Trump is the most notorious Liar in the country.
Of course all there alleged shortcomings of Democrats are pure cow manure.Republicans support Trump because he broadly reflects who they are and that might be the most disgusting thing of all.

Great tag team post by Zreebs and Jack.
Shows the complete fallacy of “both sides”

Of course not everything should be considered a “shortcoming” but where legitimate ones exist, we do a disservice to society and our standards by seeking to give a pass to someone just because they have an opponent who might be “worse.”
Let’s aim for goodness, not merely “not as bad.”

Now, don’t you feel all warm and fuzzy about Rush’s Medal of Freedom (as seen nationwide on live TV) ?

It would probably be easier to explain after a debate than the much older guy ogling his own daughter.
CG says
and there may not be anything “gayer” than referring to Donald Trump, as “Mr. Man.”

“Mayor Pete” vs, “Mr. Man”
One young man volunteered to serve his country and fight the enemy. The other spent his youth prancing around discos and trying to avoid catching STD’s.
