A 10% point lead over second place Mike Bloomberg…
Joe Biden is gonna have a good weekend folks….
His lead in South Carolina polls for Saturday’s primary there have him solidly in the lead …
We now have polling showing Biden moving up in another Southern State….
(There ARE a lot of them voting Tuesday and their voters are primarily black…Biden’s strength )
Mike Bloomberg seems to have faded in polling due to his terrible debate reviews….
Bernie Sanders has also dropped in the ratings below the 15% threshold by Democrats with favourable comments about Cuba and his inability to adequately explain how would pay for all the ‘free stuff’ he wants for America if he should be elected President…
Former Vice President Joe Biden is reclaiming his front-runner status in Florida, according to a survey released on Thursday by St. Pete Polls.
The poll shows Biden pulling ahead of the pack in the Sunshine State with 35 percent support. Meanwhile, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloombergfell into second place with 25 percent support.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who has taken the lead in polls nationally after back-to-back wins in the New Hampshire primary and Nevada caucuses, is running in a distant third in Florida. The St. Pete Poll pegged his support in the state at 13 percent, a sign that the recent traction he has enjoyed in other states isn’t translating in Florida, where voters will cast ballots on March 17.
No other candidate registered double-digit support in the survey. Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigiegfinished with about 8 percent support, while Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) registered 5 percent and 4 percent, respectively….

I very much doubt Florida’s Democrat primary will be mostly black. In a couple Congressional districts, yes.

A solid Black vote and Bloomberg/Sanders diving down will serve Joe Biden well….

Ur Feb.22nd is gonna need corrections….

What did I say on 2/22 that is wrong?

Sanders polls pretty bad in Florida. I’m surprised as he did much better with the Latino vote in Nevada than in 2016. Of course the Latino vote is not monolithic.
Sanders might fall below the 15% threshold in South Carolina and get 0 delegates. That would be quite a sting for his campaign going into Super Tuesday.
CG says
The younger the voter, the more pro-Sanders, the older the voter, the less pro-Sanders.
It is certainly a factor that the Latino vote in Florida is more influenced by horrible experiences in socialist regimes.

FL doesn’t vote until March 17.

The thing about this place is everyone likes to stick to their narratives. James continued to cheerlead for Biden even when he was spiraling down–spinning all kinds of terrible news for Joe as being somehow positive.
CG mocked James for his Biden predictions on IA, NH, and NV.
Now that Biden could make a big comeback in SC the shoe will be on the other foot. CG is committed to his “Sanders is runming away with it” narrative. I hope James sticks CG back for his prediction that Biden would finish 2nd or 3rd in SC.
Of course CG just lies and says he never made those predictions or tgat they weren’t actually “predictions”. Oh and don’t forget he’s”rarely wrong”.
It’s always entertaining!

I think james is being a bit too bullish on Biden, but I understand why he wants to hang on to any hope left. Things can indeed be very unpredictable.
I am for any primary result that keeps Sanders away from the White House and/or away from being a sacrificial socialist lamb for Trump.
If I have to vote strategically for Biden in a primary, I will. That just means adding three more showers I suppose.
CG says
I never “predict” primaries. I did say that I thought Biden was headed for third in SC. That now is changing because of Sanders backlash and Bloomberg not being on the ballot in SC.
I also never said Sanders was “running away” with anything. I think it is likely he will have the most delegates going into Milwaukee and that there will be a big fight there.
Scott P says
There will be only one way for Trump to lose on Nov. 3. He is beaten by the Democratic nominee. That is why I HAVE to support whoever that person is. I’d prefer it not be Sanders as I think he will have a tougher route to beat Trump–though I still think he can do it. But make no mistake. Not voting for the Democraric nominee is saying you don’t care if Trump is reelected.
My Name Is Jack says
I think Jim Clyburn endorsement likely sealed the deal for Biden n S.C. though the margin is still very much in doubt.
Sander,I think, will still run well in Charleston and the other urban areas.
Meanwhile Trump is hitting town tomorrow for one of his hatefests trying to upstage the Demo Primary.
CG says
Can they keep Biden in Bubblewrap through Saturday?

New poll out of Arkansas:
Sanders 19%
Buttigieg 18%
Biden 17%
Bloomberg 17%
Warren 12%
Klobuchar 6%
A virtual four-way, possible five way-tie..
A Devil’s Pentagon?
Poor Amy.

Biden probably won’t get this one Southern Dem state…
It is one of the few that I thing does NOT have a majority Dem Black vote…
We’ll see…

Biden for SC is almost a lock at this point, no doubt…how big a win is the real question, if he does really well and Sanders does poorly, it obviously catapults Biden to a start of a comeback…I think it sends a death sentence for Klobuchar and Warren…and a tailspin for Buttieg…All three of them are done, they just won’t admit it yet…Money Mike sucked the wind out of Buttieg’s moderate sail, and Biden was already there eating up a lot of that…So when it narrows to a three man race, Biden, Sanders and Bloomberg, I think that it still favors Sanders only because he will get a small majority of a plurality…because Biden and Bloomberg split some votes, if it became a two person race, I think Biden then has a real shot…but this gigantic field obviously helps Bernie more than Biden, and that is Sanders achilles heal…he really only can get 35-40% support in the Dem Primary, and in General election I know a lot of people who don’t want trump, but also don’t want bernie…That is a problem, but the Coronavirus may do something to Trump that no person, politician, movement, etc, could do and that is take him out…He can’t con his way out of a pandemic…he has been able to fake it for three years, but when the shit get’s totally real, you can’t fake it any more…maybe Jesus will help at the request of Pence, but I highly doubt that…lol
