Since the US taking out an Iranian general crowds in the streets of the Iranian capital where chanting against America….
THAT is OVER…
Now those in the streets are protesting their countries leaders because of the shot down of a Ukrainian passenger jet…
Domestic politics EVERYWHERE can change like the wind…
Iranian protesters have taken to the streets after the government admitted to accidentally shooting down a Ukrainian passenger plane, killing all 176 people aboard, and they are calling for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s resignation, Reuters reports.
Zoom out: The growing anger surrounding the crash comes just weeks after the Iranian government reportedly killed citizens in an attempt to squash national protests, The Telegraph writes. Iran is facing pressure from both world leaders and people at home over the fatal crash.

You made your point Jack….
I made mine….
Initially President’s ALWAYS do good….
But with Trump and these times?
It comes right back to the divisions in the electorate ….
As Z points out…
The unfortunate fuck up by Iran’s military and Trump’s continual ineptness in handling ANYTHING works against him…
Z’s right….
The general WAS a bad guy and won’t be missed…
The protest’s in Iraq where of Iran’s doing….
The guy has been replaced…
But Trump was WRONG in not letting the ‘gang of eight’ in the moves….
The whole thing is being framed for what it was ….
Politics and a diversion from the Trump trial….

I wasn’t making any “point.”
I was just citing a poll that I thought would be of interest.
However, since you brought it up,no Trump hasn’t received a “bump” out of this.

Even worse Jack, the voters by two-to-one think this assassination has made America less safe.

Iranian demonstrators defied a heavy police presence Sunday night to protest their country’s days of denials that it shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane carrying 176 people, the latest unrest to roil the capital amid soaring tensions with the United States.
Videos posted online showed protesters shouting anti-government slogans and moving through subway stations and sidewalks, many around Azadi, or Freedom, Square after an earlier call for people to demonstrate there. Other videos suggested similar protests were taking place in other Iranian cities….

Meanwhile, in an emotional speech before parliament, the head of the Revolutionary Guard apologized for the shootdown and insisted it was a tragic mistake.

The US is fortunate that Iran shot down a plane filled with a Iranians as a response. But such a mistake illustrates how easily things can get out of hand when you assasinate foreign leaders. In this case their response worked to our advantage. We probably won’t be as lucky next time.
Even with Iran’s response, it is hard to argue that we are somehow now safer. So Iran has replaced Soleimani with someone else. But I have no reason to believe that the replacement will be any “better” than Soleimani. And even if he is, Iran’s proxies are now more likely to covertly attack Americans.
Based on Trump’s changing message, it appears that Trump attacked Iran for political reasons rather than national security reasons. That by itself is an enormous reason why Trump must be defeated.

I think that Trump’s main reason was his deeply-insecure need to show that he’s the equal or superior of any other recent President, most especially Barack Obama (the Kenyan usurper).
Since Obama (and not Geo. W. Bush) arranged the killing of Osama bin-Laden [and for that matter, Geo. H.W. Bush arranged the capture of Gen. Noriega], Trump takes out (or at least claims all the credit for taking out) Omar al-Baghdadi of ISIS and now Gen. Suleimani.
