…from Daily Kos…
Michael Scherer in today’s Washington Post has the story, Mike Bloomberg shifts presidential ad campaign to focus on impeachment.
Former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg plans to shift his television ad message this week to directly call for President Trump’s removal from office, with a new spot that will run in states with Republican senators who face competitive reelection fights this year.
Bloomberg is specifically going after; Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), Martha McSally (R-Ariz.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).
The 30-second spot will begin running Monday afternoon in 27 states and on the national cable networks MSNBC, ESPN and CNN, replacing other ads that are already in rotation.
Like Mike or not (I do) this is the right thing and the necessary thing to do. It sends a message to vulnerable Republican Senators that they will have infinite money thrown against their reelection campaigns.
The number one spot will feature any votes they take to protect Trump in the Senate impeachment trial.
This is what needs to be done, put your money where your heart is. Thank you Mayor Bloomberg…

Spend some $$ in Maine Mike.
New poll shows 53% of voters there and 57% of independent voters think Trump is guilty and should be removed.
Collins is in a tight spot. Hope she enjoys retirement.

Good idea Scott. I have a feeling after Collins once again put her legs in the air for Trump yesterday that Bloomberg has a target on her back.
A trail without witnesses is where we are headed. The “never Trumpers” are headed for exile and Adam Schiff is shaming an entire party of old fat white men (with a few women and one black guy thrown in for show).
Think about how morally bankrupt the Republicans are, or we could obsessively talk about a dead man having drunken sex on the floor of a restaurant.
The Republicans are truly fucking this country every way possible from financial deficits to professional deficits as they drive the best and brightest out of public service.

Trump told CNBC this morning that he is considering cutting entitlements like Medicare and Social Security at the end of the year. Saying it would be “the easiest thing”
Great commercial fodder for the Democrats!
Keith says
Mike better get his money mojo going on this one. The commercials write themselves.
So tell me again that “means testing” for Social Security is a Republican talking point?! Their real talking point has always been doing away with Medicare and Social Security, just ask Paul Ryan (the man Biden destroyed in a debate).
Does anyone now even question that Trump is a Republican?
