The guy who was on the first to endorse Donald Trump for President….
The guy who was rewarded with the US Attorney general job…
The guy who refused to get involved (Like Bill Barr) in Trump’s 2016 election capers….
The guy that Trump threw under the bus and fired for doing the right legal thing …..
Is now running to get his old job back was one of the US Senator’s from Alabama…
If he gets the nomination?
He’d be running against the Democrat that won his job after he left…
AL-Sen: An internal poll from former Sen. Jeff Sessions (R) has him leading the pack in the GOP primary with 44% of the vote followed by former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville (R) followed with 21%, and Rep. Bradley Byrne (R) with 14% and teenage girl aficionado Roy Moore well back with 7%. As with any internal you should salt to taste but it is interesting to note that Sessions is well under the 50% he needs to avoid a GOP runoff in his own internals. One would think that a former 4 term US Senator and Attorney General of the United States would be doing better than being held to 44% of the vote in a GOP primary which speaks volumes to the damage Sessions’s tenure with Trump has done to his political stature….
