I mentioned that they were in another thread and they certainly worked together in campaigns in Broward County. Ron definitely turned on him though, wisely so.
The Politics1 Twitter feed continues to be a great source of information and opinion gathering. I note Ron’s personal Twitter has seen a shift in his bio over the past two years from “progressive activist” to “radical centrist” to “center-right.”

I am reminded of a former regular from P1 whom I used to correspond with via email a lot. He was pretty accomplished in Dem politics and at the time working as a consultant for Bloomberg at the time when Bloomberg was Mayor and he just raved about him and how he wished Bloomberg could be President, etc.
This same person years later would then take on a very large role in Bernie Sanders’ Presidential campaign.
So, now he has Sanders and Bloomberg running against each other.
He figured out a way to survive Sheriff Israel (whom Roger Stone played quite a role in electing by the way)
Just had to move away from the beach I guess.
Speaking of Governor Hogan, Ron is rightfully defending him against the attacks of Maya Cummings, the widow of Elijah Cumming, who is in the running to replace him.
She is saying that because Hogan has expressed admiration for Ronald Reagan, he is a “white nationalist.” (basically a Keith move)
Ms. Cummings just lost her husband and is also undergoing a preventative double mastectomy so she may have a lot on her mind these days, but that’s pretty outrageous to say about Hogan.. considering his entire family is non-white.
It seems like Elijah was the grown up in that marriage.
