He is the lead prosecutor on the President Donald Trump impeachment inquiry in the US House….
Here’s a look at Schiff from the NY Times….
The crowd was buzzing with Hollywood types — the actress Patricia Arquette, the producer Norman Lear — at a private film screening on Sunset Boulevard one recent Sunday afternoon. But here in liberal America, the biggest celebrity in the room was not someone who makes a living in what people call “the industry.”
It was Representative Adam B. Schiff, the strait-laced former federal prosecutor who was on the brink of prosecuting his biggest defendant yet: President Trump.
These are heady but perilous days for Mr. Schiff, the inscrutable and slightly nerdy chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who is leading the impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump. Adored by the left, reviled by the right, he has become a Rorschach test for American politics. Depending on one’s point of view, he is either going to save the republic, or destroy it.

Republican Presidential candidate Joe Walsh said FOX News is lying to the American people.
Nice of him to finally notice.

Wonder if this will cause CG to “reevaluate “ his support of Walsh?
Hechas always been a big defender of FoxNews here.
CG says
There are different people on Fox News.
Some are mouthpieces. Some are journalists. Intelligent people can understand the difference.
My Name Is Jack says
Yeah well go tell your candidate.
Then, maybe again he isn’t “intelligent.”

I read the quote. He said “opinion shows” on Fox News and “conservative talk radio” are lying to people. No issue with that at all.
He was saying the exact same thing on the radio back in 2018 in regards to people like Hannity, etc, saying that Republicans were ultra-enthused about the midterms and poised to head Democrats massive losses. Walsh was saying that this was not the case, Democrats were probably going to do very well, and he was the only conservative talk radio host willing to admit the truth. He was right.
None of this means that Fox News is not a valid news gathering organization. While I personally enjoy seeing Trump get bashed 24/7 as he would on a place like MSNBC, Fox News is indeed more “fair and balanced” as a whole than the others. They give air time to plenty of Trump critics, which is not something that could have been said for MSNBC when Obama was President or the fact that MSNBC will never have any pro-Trump person on their air now. (I don’t even think they show anything said by Trump live minus the SOTU or a major address)
So, what else is there to fight about today? I’m bored.

So you listen to Hannity and give as an example of his bias that Democrats would do better in the midterms than he predicted. I mean we are talking about Hannity. Can’t you think of better examples of his bias than that?
CG says
I don’t listen to Hannity at all. I would hear small bits of Walsh’s radio show over the past few years and he would be talking about how Hannity was just a hack, etc. I also knew from online bravado that Republicans were saying (whether they actually believed it or not) that they were going to wipe the floor with Democrats in the midterms.
They are saying it about 2020 now too.

Republicans have a relative view of “intelligence.”
Donald Trump says he’s very intelligent nd he draws support from between 80-90% of Republicans.Presumably many of those consider him “intelligent.”
I don’t.
CG says
He’s intelligent in the art of manipulation. You have to concede that certainly.
