We are just 3 months out from the primaries and a year out from the general election and Biden still leads the pack ….
His RealClear Politics average numbers have opened up from a just before the October debate when Warren was just a hair behind him….She now trails him by almost 10% points…
It will interesting to see how she does after her announcement of how she would pay for her single payer/Medicare for All healthcare coverage that would entail HUGE tax increases and a fundamental change in several polices and a YUGE cut in the Defense budget , things that simply are NOT gonna happen …
Two new polls out just counter the media try to elevate Elizabeth Warren to the lead she never had….Warren and Buttigieg HAVE made significant gains in support…Sanders has not….
Against media, other Democrats and Donald Trump’s effort’s?
Ole’ Joe just cruises along in the lead….
Democratic primary voters increasingly feel the need to nominate a candidate who can beat President Trump in 2020, and more think Joe Biden can do that than any of the other top Democratic hopefuls. In addition, while most Democratic primary voters are satisfied with their field, more than a quarter wish they had other options, according to a new Fox News Poll.
Biden leads the nomination race with the backing of 31 percent of Democratic primary voters, followed by Elizabeth Warren at 21 percent, Bernie Sanders at 19 percent, and Pete Buttigieg at 7 percent. In early October, Biden was at 32 percent, Warren 22, Sanders 17, and Buttigieg 4.
Kamala Harris and Andrew Yang receive 3 percent apiece, followed by Cory Booker, Tulsi Gabbard, and Amy Klobuchar each at 2 percent, and Tom Steyer at 1 percent.
Compared to March, the first Fox News Poll on the race, Biden’s support is unchanged, while Warren has gained 17 points, Buttigieg is up 6 and Sanders is down 4….
….
An NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll offered similar results, with Biden at 27 percent, Warren at 23 and Sanders at 19. A Fox News poll had the best news for Biden, showing him at 31 percent, Warren at 21 and Sanders at 19.
The three polls were released exactly one year before Election Day 2020.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., sits in fourth place in all three polls, with his current support ranging from 6 to 9 percent.
California Sen. Kamala Harris, who was polling in double digits during the summer, was in fifth place in two polls and sixth (behind Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar) in one of them….
Note….
Electability?….
Joe Biden continues to lead the Democratic pack also in doing the best running against Donald Trump….
The above polls have Biden ahead by a simple average of 10.5%….Warren by 6.5%

Something I have been seeing and saying here….

@NateSilver538
There may be several other polls out today, but as of right now, Biden has led in 10 national polls (Harris, ABC/Post, YouGov, Morning Consult, Suffolk, McLaughlin, Emerson, CNN, Ipsos, SurveyUSA) and Warren just 1 (Quinnipiac) since Oct. 15. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-primaries/democratic/national/
And…The over reliance on Iowa and NH by the media….
Nate Silver
@NateSilver538
Another good reason is that they’re more reflective of Democratic voters overall, who are 40% nonwhite, than Iowa and New Hampshire, which are very white. If the media truly gave SC/NV coequal billing with IA/NH, that would obviate the need somewhat, but they don’t.
