Buttigieg looked genuinely angry with Tulsi Gabbard. And Cory Booker wondered if Joe Biden was high.
For our experts, the fifth Democratic debate was also the most divisive, in terms of who won it. Some thought Biden dominated, while others wondered if his brain was working. Some thought Kamala Harris stood out, while others thought she bombed. And Buttigieg went untouched, which could mean that he did great—or it could mean that his opponents assume that he’s not a threat….
A new Iowa State University poll finds Pete Buttigieg leading the Democratic field with 26%, followed by Elizabeth Warren at 19%, Bernie Sanders at 18% and Joe Biden at 12%.
Warren has dropped by nearly 10% over the past month.
Said pollster Dave Peterson: “Warren has seen heightened scrutiny this past month, while Buttigieg has received mostly positive attention. A little over 60% of the people who supported Warren in October still support her now, and those who switched went to Buttigieg.”

Right now.Buittigiegs numbers among minorities are way too bad for him to win the Democratic nomination.
However ,victories in Iowa and New Hampshire ,or even just one ,could find that support growing.
So yes presently one can dismiss Buttigieg as just the current flavor.A victory or two down the road and rising poll numbers among minorities?Might get more difficult to laugh him off.
