Donald J. Trump is working HARD to get the US House to charge him with ‘Obstruction of Congress’.…
Everyday he forbid’s another US Government employee from speaking to the body that pays their salaries….
The US Congress…
The same body that according the US Constitution is supposed to oversee the executive branch…
Trump , a former businessman who worked in the shadows, feels that as the leader of a 300 million plus country can do ‘his own thing’….
The problem that maybe developing is that American’s ARE beginning to feel that Trump IS hiding something and THAT may turn them against Donald Trump remaining in office…
Polling supporting THAT could begin to peel away support from US Senator’s from Trump’s party if and when a impeachment conviction comes their way…
It’s NOT the crime….
Perhaps it’s because new revelations are coming in a deluge, making it hard to land on one overarching rationalization. What’s more, new revelations have washed away rationales already presented by the White House. (The dismissal among Trump’s allies that the intelligence-community whistleblower was relying on hearsay, for example, was undercut entirely by the release of a rough transcript of the Trump-Zelensky call showing that the whistleblower nailed the contents of the call.) Or perhaps it’s because the question at hand — was the behavior appropriate? — is both straightforward and hard to defend on the merits.
Particularly in the broader context of Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukraine. A third of Republicans, for example, think that the Trump administration’s still-unexplained decision to halt aid to Ukraine is an important consideration in evaluating Trump’s request. There’s really only one way to read that: A third of Republicans think it’s possible that Trump was using American aid as leverage….
…
The findings indicate that public opinion has shifted quickly against the president and in favor of impeachment proceedings in recent weeks as information has been released about Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukrainian government officials to undertake an investigation into former vice president Joe Biden, a potential 2020 campaign rival, and Biden’s son Hunter.
Previous Post-Schar School or Post-ABC News polls taken at different points throughout this year found majorities of Americans opposing the start of an impeachment proceeding, with 37 percent to 41 percent saying they favored such a step. The recent revelations appear to have prompted many Americans to rethink their position….

Let the record show that in my “great and unmatched wisdom”, I did say this would happen, while others here feared Trump would see a surge in popularity.

The Trump White House announces it will NOT COOPERATE at ALL with the House impeachment inquiry …

Ezra Klein
@ezraklien
The Trump administration’s flat refusal to cooperate with congressional oversight is, itself, impeachable.
The question now is whether Republicans in Congress will stand up for the institution they serve, or whether “constitutional conservatism” means whatever Trump wants.

will the Trump tell the courts to go screw themselves ALSO?
