Morrison is expected to tell impeachment investigators on Thursday that the account offered by Ambassador William B. Taylor Jr., is accurate, particularly that Morrison alerted him to the president’s and his deputies’ push to withhold security aid and a meeting with the Ukrainian president until Ukraine announced an investigation of the Bidens and 2016 election interference, the person said on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive discussions.
Morrison will also say that he did not necessarily view the president’s demands as improper or illegal, but rather problematic for U.S. policy in supporting an ally in the region, the person said.
Morrison’s testimony comes as the House votes on a resolution formalizing the impeachment inquiry and a day after he told colleagues that he plans to leave the Trump administration. His testimony was sought due to his proximity to critical White House decisions and recurring presence in testimony from previous U.S. officials. House investigators have also requested testimony from Morrison’s boss, former national security adviser John Bolton….

Hannity said just now that he has “multiple sources” confirming the whistleblower’s identity but will keep “playing the game” for now and not reveal it, says the whistleblower’s attorneys have threatened to sue him if he does.
(This means Trump most likely knows who the whistleblower is also)
You guys sound just as desperate today as the Trump acolytes. Why don’t you just take all this as it comes and realize how bad it is for Trump?
Today’s vote was no big deal. It did not even need to be held. Republicans called for one and Pelosi finally gave in. It’s about “process’ not the substance that is likely to be involved in the actual impeachment. So,people are just going to vote the party line on this. Amash voted for it.
The House does not need one Republican vote to impeach Trump. They are likely to get a handful at most.
After the Senate trial, it will depend on public opinion. I am pretty confident there will be at least three Guilty votes from Republicans. The rest? Who knows? There may be many that turn on Trump en masse or others who will insist on some sort of “compromise” in which they will declare that what he did was wrong but not to the level of removing him, which is pretty much what Democrats were left saying about Clinton.
