the story with the other 7 Republican US Senators?
Are there MORE Republican’s in the Senate that could be possibly wavering?

As “ the worm” turns!
Nothing more than “ the Worm” trying to curry favor with Trump after that insignificant dustup over Syria and burnishing his Trumpite credentials with the largely pro Trump SC Republican electorate.

Apparently, Sen. Graham has got another four Senators to sign his letter, raising the total to 50% of the prospective jury, leaving only three hold-outs:
Mitt Romney of Utah,
Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and
Susan Collins of Maine.

Hmmmm?
Intersting, eh?…Soft ‘No’s
Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) said on Monday that they will not sign onto a GOP resolution condemning the House impeachment inquiry.
Collins and Murkowski are two of the three GOP senators who have not yet co-sponsored the resolution, which was spearheaded by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
“From the get go, Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats have handled this impeachment inquiry poorly, from closed-door hearings and leaked information to the outright abandonment of decades of established precedent on due process for the accused. A serious lack of transparency will hardly build public trust or credibility for the House’s actions,” Murkowski said in a statement.
She added that, “as awful as their process is, the formal impeachment inquiry lies in the House, and it’s not the Senate’s role to dictate to the House how to determine their own rules.”
Collins separately told Politico that she doesn’t plan to co-sponsor the resolution, though she added that she hasn’t decided how she would vote if the resolution comes up on the Senate floor….
The Hill….

….U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday dismissed the likelihood that his Republican-led chamber would cast enough votes to remove President Donald Trump, the head of the Republican party, from office should the impeachment case be put before them.
“It’s inconceivable to me there would be 67 votes to remove the president from office,” McConnell told reporters…

OK, here are those who hadn’t signed by Thursday afternoon, from The Hill, which should be read together with the WashPost article above to guess the whys and wherefores:
“When Graham introduced the resolution, he had 39 co-sponsors, but that quickly ticked up to 44, with only nine Republicans not signed on as of Thursday afternoon: Romney, Collins, Murkowski and Sens. Cory Gardner (Colo.), Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), Mike Enzi (Wyo.), Dan Sullivan (Alaska), Johnny Isakson (Ga.) and Rob Portman (Ohio)….”
