With Obama, that number for Democrats would have been even higher on *any* issue when phrased a certain way (However, most Congressional Democrats were still willing to oppose him on trade matters)
We saw that a significant majority of Congressional Republicans were willing to go on the record and vote on a rebuke to Trump. It greatly angered him yesterday causing a meltdown.

Besides what Congressman Shimkus said last week, I am legitimately seeing people online who said they were going to vote for Trump now say they won’t over the Kurd situation and things that happened yesterday. Who knows if they will truly follow through with that stance to the end, but I would not discount the significance.

Trump likely isn’t going to even understand many of the other issues in the platform, He will have no idea what they even say.

It’s not “Senate Republicans” as a whole. I am seeing now that it is specifically Rand Paul, which should be no surprise.
Senate rules allow any Senator to have this kind of power.
I don’t claim to know the details of this cease-fire or if it is good or bad, etc, but if the optics are that Trump made a big mess of something and Pence had to step in and clean it up, and succeeded in doing so, that will probably really upset Trump.
And it should remind Republican politicians and citizens alike that it might be good for the country both governmentally and politically to jettison Trump and let Pence have a chance.
