They don’t have to….(But certainly WANT to)
They need to to win New Hampshire if they don’t get Iowa…
The two state’s are small and non-representive of the Democratic voter poll nationally….
But the math looks more favourable for them with Nevada, South Carolina and California and the Super Tuesday states…
The comments from the Biden people are nice, but they DO want as many wins as they can get as soon as they can get them to close things out fore their guy….
Democratic Iowa caucuses, Joe Biden, Politics, Democratic Presidential nomination
“Do I think we have to win Iowa? No,” a senior adviser told campaign reporters Tuesday in a background briefing. The adviser said Iowa, which holds the first nominating contest in the nation, will be “critical.”
“We think we’re going to win. We think it’s going to be a dogfight. … But we think there are several candidates in this field, there’s probably three or four, that are going to go awhile.”
Biden advisers have said they’ve laid the groundwork in early voting states but “are now ramping up for Super Tuesday and beyond,” and they have no expectation Biden will leave the race after the first contests….
Note…
Lets see if there is a ‘clarification’ on this later…..

Have said this before but kinda seems like Democrats should be more concerned that Iowa and New Hampshire continue to have so much influence on the nomination process when both states’ caucus/primary electorates are 90%+ white.
