The man needs help….
Pro football is the least of what should concern him….
The New England Patriots released Antonio Brown on Friday, ending his brief but turbulent tenure with the team as the N.F.L. was investigating him for multiple accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, including rape.
“The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown,” the team said in a statement. “We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”
Cathy Lanier, the N.F.L.’s chief of security, was scheduled to meet Friday with a woman who said she endured unwelcome sexual advances from Brown two years ago. This week, the woman accused the wide receiver of sending her texts she found intimidating.
The meeting, according to Debra S. Katz, one of the woman’s lawyers, was arranged “to ensure that my client’s safety concerns are being addressed and to preserve electronic evidence.” N.F.L. officials also spoke with the woman’s lawyers, Katz and Lisa J. Banks, on Friday morning.
Needs help?
Sounds to me like nothing more than a common criminal.
No….
It turns out that Brown has been having difficult in his personal life that teams have ignored as long as they can have him score points for them in Sunday games…
The guy needs personal help to put his life back together…
If he raped somebody?
He belongs in jail.
The person who needs “help” is the woman that was raped.
You give the words “bleedingheart” a bad name.
Coming from the likes of you though?Unsurprising.
Counsellor?
‘Innocent until proven guilty’?…
There is NO criminal aspect to this case right now…
It’s a civil manner….
Consistent with the way that james stood up for Chris Brown after he beat the hell out of Rihanna.
Brown HAS been in jail more than once for his actions…
I said “if.”
However, as we all know here, reading comprehension be not your strong suit.
There are a lot of people in the world who deserve sympathy.
A multi millionaire, pampered ,arrogant football player is not someone I waste my sympathies on.
