Bernie Sanders has slid back into second place behind Joe Biden after Elizabeth Warren bumped him for almost a week…The difference is slight, less then a full percentage point….Warren IS gaining seriously challenging Sanders for the runner up spot in the nomination sweepstakes race….

Joe Biden maintains almost a 2-1 lead over Sanders and Warren and more than. a 3 -1 lead over Kamala Harris…

Down a bit Amy Klobuchar has moved ahead of Andrew Yang , but still is in the low single digits….
Hickenlooper has dropped out to run for the US Senate most likely and Beto O’Rorke its being urged to do the same back in Texas….
Gabbard in doing reserve duty for a while ….
The next debate is Sept . 12 and Sept. 13….and only nine of the candidates have qualified to be on stage….But 3 more say they should be above the threshold to make it…

A new Fox News Poll finds Joe Biden continues to lead the Democratic presidential race with 31%, followed by Elizabeth Warren at 20%, Bernie Sanders at 10%, and Kamala Harris at 8%.
Everyone of the four frontrunners beats President Trump in general election match ups….

The internals of this poll unsurprisingly reveal continuing overwhelming support of Trump among Republicans.
His approval stands at 88% which is consistent with his approvals among GOPers throughout his term.
Further, as I will continue to observe, even among Republicans who “disapprove “ of him,there remain a substantial number who will likely vote for him against any Democratic candidate.
Finally, with this high and consistent approval, any challenge to Trump in Republican primaries is a simple exercise in futility and is certainly no threat to his renomination
