So much for Kamala Harris dissing Joe Biden….
The South Bend mayor with trouble back home reports an impressive fundraising take for the last 3 months….
Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg’s campaign raised over $24.8 million in the second quarter of 2019.
That haul is a dramatic increase from the previous quarter, when the South Bend, Ind., mayor raised $7 million. Now Buttigieg has $22.6 million cash on hand, according to the campaign.
The campaign said it had 230,000 new donors, putting its total number of donors at 400,000. The average contribution for the second quarter was $47.42.
The second-quarter haul illustrates the aggressive approach Buttigieg has taken to fundraising. Since he formally launched his campaign earlier this year, Buttigieg has made sure to leverage growing national interest in his candidacy. The mayor’s campaign has often held multiple fundraisers during visits to key cities around the country, helping him to compete with some of his better known rivals in the Democratic primary….
Note….
While Sanders and Warren campaigns will probably bring in more money?
Their ‘burn rate’ with higher numbers of people on the ground , is gonna be MUCH HIGHER than other lower tier candidates….
