President Trump, after a weekend spent assailing a leading African-American congressman from Baltimore, widened his war on critics of color on Monday morning as he denounced the Rev. Al Sharpton as “a con man” who “Hates Whites & Cops!”
Mr. Trump seemed to be responding to a Twitter post in which Mr. Sharpton showed himself at an airport “headed to Baltimore,” presumably a reference to the president’s attacks on Representative Elijah E. Cummings, the Democrat who represents much of Maryland’s largest city.
“I have known Al for 25 years,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter as he reposted Mr. Sharpton’s tweet. “Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He ‘loved Trump!’ He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!”

Hell that whole Administration is nothing but a cabal of con artists.
And that says a lot about those who support Trump.As I’ve said the one thing I admire about the crud is the total contempt in which he holds his supporters.

Like CG and a number of other fellow-posters, I have absolutely no use or respect for Al Sharpton — which doesn’t make Trump’s tweets fitting (right target, wrong weapon, poor aim).
I think that his hands still bear the blood of at least one person (a suicide wrongly accused of assaulting an untruthful Tawana Brawley) and perhaps a second (a merchant killed during riots against non-resident merchants in Harlem).
It’s distressing to see him and his National Action Network being given so much legitimacy today, even insofar as giving him a minor post at the Obama White House.
EVERY serious Democratic nominee in recent history WENT and kissed Al Sharpton’s ring and ask for his blessing….
A Trump like figure who IS iconic entertainment Black media character…
