About Last Night:
State Rep. Fred Keller (R) easily won PA-12, performing in line with Trump’s margin in the district.
Incumbent Matt Bevin (R) squeaked out an underwhelming primary victory for KY-Gov and will face AG Andy Beshear (D).
Elections board member Michael Adams (R) will face former Miss America Heather French-Henry (D) for KY-SoS.
Former McConnell aide Daniel Cameron (R) was nominated for AG, Dems nominated Michael Bowman (D) for Treasurer, Sheri Donahue (D) for Auditor, and Robert Haley Conway (D) to face Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarles (R).
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney (D) was easily renominated, and Republicans easily held three deep-red state legislative seats in PA.
President:
De la Fuente: Looks like President Trump will get a major GOP primary challenger after all. No one has more experience running for office than Rocky de la Fuente and he has announced that he will run for the 2020 GOP nomination. de La Fuente ran for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, in the 2016 Florida Senate Democratic primary, NYC Mayor in 2017 as a Republican and for US Senate in Republican primaries in eight different states in 2018! With de la Fuente and Bill Weld running against President Donald Trump the GOP presidential primary could feature 3 candidates that no one would have thought of as a real Republican as recently as 2014.
Warren: Everything you need to know about how Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) and Rep. Alexandria Ocacio-Cortez (D) see the world and their lack of overall judgement can be summed up in this clip of their distraught over the fact that Daenerys Targaryen, the butcher of Kings Landing, did not become Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. I guess a white dude in a wheel chair is not SJW enough for them. Overall it is a good reminder that when so-called democratic socialist talk about “breaking the wheel” it usually ends in ashes and death.
Harris: Sen. Kamala Harris (D) who wants to fine major corporations that have a so-call gender pay gaps pays men in her Senate Office and on her campaign more than woman.
deBlasio: Why is Bill de Blasio (D) running for President? It’s the money! NYC has very strict rules about raising money for municipal elections and Bill de Blasio has been a expert at skirting the rules. Mayor de Blasio raised millions of pay to play dollars from people with business before the City of New York with his state PAC Campaign for One New York. While major donors to de Blasio’s campaigns in two federal jurisdictions pled guilty to bribing him, the post-Bob McDonnell bribery standards allowed de Blasio to skate scot-free. In response to deBlasio shady fundraising NY shut down the loophole that allowed him to funnel money to a state campaign from people who have business before the City. But they couldn’t rewrite federal law which allows de Blasio to use a federal PAC and his presidential campaign to reap in pay to play dollars from people seeking favors. de Blasio needs to run for president to keep his pay to play con going.
