With announcement of his run for President probably less than a week away….
Joe Biden is going backwards in expressing regret for things done in his past that he knows the media and Republicans will throw up until election day 2020…..
Joe Biden isn’t perfect….
He IS prone to speak his mind on things before engaging his brain ….
And that does make him more human top people like me…
But he’s a Democrat….
And Democrats ARE held to a higher standard than Republicans….
So ole Joe is gonna get called on decades of stuff….
Still?
The guy continues to lead in 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination race by a good margin….
But the guy HAS to announce ….
One hopes that the media obsession with the progressive narrative won’t stop Biden from plugging ahead in the middle where the majority of the parties actually voters are and seem to still be for him….
He will need to be in the middle to gain back those who voted for Barack Obama and him twice….

Speaking at the Biden Courage Awards ceremony, the former vice president said Hill had “paid a terrible price” for speaking out against the future Supreme Court justice, that she was “abused through the hearing,” and that she deserved better than to be questioned by “a bunch of white guys.”
“To this day I regret I couldn’t come up with a way to give her the kind of hearing she deserved,” Biden told an audience in New York on Tuesday. “I wish I could have done something.”…

While the remarks might not allay concerns among progressives about his potential candidacy, it’s unclear how they’ll resonate with the party as a whole. Biden, despite not having entered the race, has consistently led in early polls—a reflection of his experience, name recognition, and enduring popularity among Democrats, despite a propensity for gaffes. For years, he’s been a well-liked figure in the party, even with his Hill baggage. For some, then, even the mere acknowledgement that he mishandled the hearing might be enough to put the matter to rest. But that likely won’t be the case for his fellow Democratic challengers…
