It’s this dog’s view that the only way Donald Trump is going away is gonna be if Mueller and the media are able to make Trump so unpopular and weakened that he will find his only escape is to leave the Presidency…
The ‘off the cuff ‘comments that Trump could be indicted and convicted of any of the TONS of criminal actions he probably was a part of in the past , is just wishful thinking….
If Trump knows that charges are sitting on desk waiting for him if he drops out of office voluntarily or not?….
He’ll make sure that he steps down with enough time for a elevated Mike Pence to President , who can , and will, pardon him….

Prime Minister Theresa May has won a vote of confidence in her leadership of the Conservative Party by 200 to 117.

After securing 63% of the total vote, she is now immune from a leadership challenge for a year.
Speaking in Downing Street, she vowed to deliver the Brexit “people voted for” but said she had listened to the concerns of MPs who voted against her.

A new US Congress is to be sworn in today……
Nancy Pelosi elected Speaker of House…..
So, it looks like she made it by one vote.
She needed 218 and got 219?
Thankfully for her, Democrats won several more seats than needed on Election Night. Had they won just a handful less, she wouldn’t be Speaker today.
Generally speaking, her getting this role again was very much “in doubt.”
I believe she probably allowed some votes against her to make the malcontents feel good….
She KNOWS how to count….

Thankfully there WILL be a bit of a speed break against the GOPer’s just capitulating to Trump’s silly urges!….
I never thought her getting the gavel was in doubt….
She’s a skillful legislator….
