This from a Conservative Blog post…
Evangelicals are in trouble. More and more, they are losing sight of the truth of the Gospels.
If there are any who, like myself, watch other evangelicals throw themselves at the feet of an adulterous, abusive, unrepentant man, such as Donald Trump, and wonder why they gaze at him with worshipful adoration, we now may have a clue….

You really need to read and understand what the articles you post are saying, James.
This particular writer, Susan Wright, is attacking the average evangelical-in-the-pew’s opinions that she thinks are too tolerant of non-belief and non-believers. In particular, their belief that people are inherently and basically good (rather than tainted by an Original Sin that can only be washed away by Faith), and that Salvation (the route to Heaven) is possible even for those who don’t believe and practise Bible-based, faith-based evangelical Christianity (to which she contrasts John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.”)
In other words, concepts that are frequently shared by folks who are not evangelical Christians, what many of us would consider to be commonplaces of the late-20th and 21st centuries. And in this case almost everyone here would agree far more with Donald Trump than with the author. So if we’re going to attack the hypocrisy of pro-Trump “evangelical Christians”, this is not the place to start.

If . As the author, points out u are that way?
Then how can you support Trump who has no respect for good in women, people of color and the basic truth?
Catholic clergy have denounced Trump on immigration because of his lack of basic
Beliefs for those oppressed…
I see the piece doubting Trump as a true christen and therefore doubting those who would follow him with support….(They have lost their way?)
I could have missed the boat on this, but it IS why I choose to post the piece…
