Trump and company are now on a hunt to find out who has spilled the beans on their boss….
The political bleeding continues….
Every week is remarkable. Practically every day is bizarre. So how to describe days that are even more remarkably and bizarrely unprecedented than the last?
Surreal barely hints at the mind-bending dramatic spectacle of Donald Trump’s Washington this week.
It’s as if the reality television show that has consumed the nation’s capital for 20 months is working its way toward a jaw-dropping season finale, but the tension is never relieved. It’s the cliffhanger that won’t end.
The latest installment features a modern-day whodunit wrapped around the core of a constitutional crisis in the executive branch. Trump himself, in a tweet Wednesday night, penned what could be the title page: TREASON?

I’ve yet to see any “political bleeding?”
What are you referring to?
Have any Republicans besides a few scattered neverTrumpers ,said anything negative about the White House lately?
Please tell us about them.

Trump’s blood pressure has got to be off the charts after this week. If not, I want to know what kind of medication and how many MG it takes, because mine doesn’t seem to be working as well.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) acknowledged on Twitter that he “regularly” considers leaving the Republican party.
Sasse was responding to someone who said they left the Democratic party to become a “no party” voter and asked the GOP senator if he ever considered following suit….

Despite negative comments ,no Major Republican elected officials have actually left the Republican Party.
That has been mostly been confined to media types like George Will and Steve Schmidt.
Sort of misleading too.Does anyone really doubt that these types still vote almost exclusively for Republican candidates? Why wouldn’t they? They are still conservatives whose objection to the Republican Party is personal rather than policy driven.I mean it’s not like they have morphed into Democrats ,after all.
Indeed, some of these neverTrumpers seem to have made that their profession of late. Two of the best known are Rick Wilson and Charlie Sykes.Wilson is aRepublican campaign guy who has mostly been involved in Florida campaigns while Sykes is a radio guy from Wisconsin.
Neither was a major player in the Republican Party and came to be known mostly by being Republicans who spoke out against Trump. They have seemed to parlayed that into a pretty good gig.Indeed Wilson has even penned a best selling book.
Nothing wrong with this, good work if you can get it ,but pretending that these guys ,or others like them ,are major players in the GOP is mistaken.Theyre just quotable media guys.

“I can’t be held responsible for his actions. I can only be held responsible for my own actions. The one thing about this president, he certainly communicates with the people of this country and lets them know what he thinks.”
