Democrat Andrew Gillum holds a slim lead over Republican Ron DeSantisin the upcoming Florida gubernatorial election, according to a poll released Monday.
A University of North Florida survey showed Gillum receiving support from 47 percent of likely voters, compared to 43 percent who back DeSantis. Another 10 percent of voters are undecided in the race.
While the results are largely skewed along party lines, Gillum received support from 11 percent of Republican voters surveyed, according to the poll.
By comparison, 6 percent of Democrats said they would vote for DeSantis.
The poll surveyed 605 likely voters from Sept. 17-19. The margin of error for the poll is 3.95 percentage points.
The University of North Florida poll is largely consistent with other polls in the race thus far. A RealClearPolitics average of polls in the race shows Gillum with a 3.4 percentage point lead….
RealClearPolitics’ average of national approval/disapproval rating for Trump is nattowing the margin onec again to – 10.2.
Average disapproval fell about 1/2 % to 53.3%, but approval rose almost a point to 43.1 %.
Only one of the half-dozen different polls taken in the last week (Gallup) show a spread wider than – 10 % (- 16%), an approval below 44 % (40 %) or a disapproval of more than 53 % (56 %).

They ain’t neutral even is everybody quotes them…
Minor quibble, James, the RCP disapproval average is now 53.3 % (which is 10.2 % greater than the 43.1 % approval average). Your sidebar still puts disapproval at 53.7 %.
